Let me get this straight, which of these will make incapacitate do damadge, Shield team power, perplex, enhancement

SHIELD & Enhancement will inflict an extra click of damage for Incapacitate attacks (EX: Base damage 2 reduced to 0 + 1 SHIELD equals 1)

Perplexing damage will not benefit an Incapacitate attack (EX: Base Damage 2 + Peplex 1 = 3 reduced to 0 equals 0)

would it work the same with mind control?

It would work with Mind Control only if you roll a Critical Hit (I know it's weird).

MC without a crit does no damage (or null) so there's nothing to add SHIELD/Enhancement damage: null + 1 = null

INC does 0 damage, a subtle but important difference: 0 + 1 =1

Originally the MC "no damage" rule prevented Critical Hits from doing extra damage but Wizkids (in their infinite wisdom) decreed that all Critical Hits should add 1 damage regardless of the power used. So they made a specific FAQ ruling allowing this.

Thanks to this loophole you now have something to add SHIELD/Enhancement damage to...IF you roll boxcars.

With SHIELD this means you have to take a chance that you roll double 6's or else you are wasting an action.

Perplexing damage doesn't help you at all with MC no matter what you roll because of the same reasons for Incapacitate.
