I want to enter my first tourney (300 pt.) I have a relatively small collection, and don't buy DC. How would this do?

V Blastaar 138
E Logan 49
R Quicksilver 18
E AIM medic 16
U Nick Fury 62
V Shield Trooper 17

Trooper boosts Nick in stealth who snipes anyone who gets near. Quicksilver runs interference. Blastaar taxis Logan and purposely gets in harm's way until his super click, where he devastates the field. My only problem is when Logan gets Battle Fury, and I have no TK to help heal him.

Pretty good.

Logan really doesnt need the medic extremely bad because of his regeneration, and if he is in trouble from a ranged attacker, you could position Blastaar in between to take some damage and get a little stronger.

Fury seems a little underused here. True, he could hit 1 target for 3 damage at 6 range or 2 targets for 2 damage with the help of the trooper. But 6 range isnt something that your opponent is just going to wander into. You may want to consider pushing Nick to get to his Running Shot and Outwit combo, maybe with the help of Blastaar to taxi him into better range for his half move and shoot.

Or use Blastaar to Run and shoot at a target while carrying the Shield trooper, and then Runningshot Nick adjacent to the Trooper for the 2 damage to 2 targets attack.

Logan can pretty much handle himself without Blastaar.

Quicksilver is good, but would be better with his flurry in tougher versions. Still great range of movement though.

I think you're right on most points. I don't have any other versions of quicksilver, but I can drop him and the medic for an E Whirlwind. I just got Fury and am still experimenting. I usually just wait till he gets hit and then break out with the running shot and outwit.

This looks like a pretty well done team. Just be warned that Blastaar will be the biggest target for your opponent. Forunately he can take a few hits and gets better as he gets hit. I learned from playing him in a tournament that you shouldn't push him to get to those better clicks. Let your opponent do the work for you. Blastaar's really hard to heal, though, because his defense is above 15 for everything but his last click.
