I've been noticing alot more Canadians on here lately. So I'm curious who all is A proud Canadian and what city are you from. Also what venues are close to you.
I will start I'm Neoclix..........Neil and Im from London Ontario.
In London we have 2 venues:
Thursdays @ 6pm L.a Moods
Saturday @ 3pm Comicbook Collector.

I can't believe this thread is here and someone from London started it, I just went through London about 4 hours ago and stopped at Hero's as it's the only store I know the location of there. It was the first store I ever saw Heroclix at (Dark Phoenix blew me away among others) , that was 5 years ago. Today they had next to nothing except a Purple Pants Foom I picked up for $30.
Kingsville Ontario The Southern most town in all of Canada, and about 45 minutes from Windsor. Couple venues in Windsor, Rouges Gallery is the place for me!!!!

I have 1 venue Great White (they are also in Calgary) Friday 6pm. It would be nice if Dennis showed up once in a while.
I've played in Vancouver, Victoria, Kelowna, and Edmonton.
I've tried to catch games in Regina and Vernon but it never worked out.
I am going to try to play in Calgary this month and on the East coast next year so if anyone plays there please post.
Come on guys this is a good way to network with other canadains on here. who wants to see a alpha flight action pack I know I do.

Obviously from our nic- Torontcollectr ( we are in Toronto). We have met a few people from the realms.
Both Mrs & I collect (she is waiting for a Disney Pluto Clix!),
We buy & sell and occasionally trade.
My oldest son is the primary player- however he plays a variety of games and clix is not tops on his list :(
Won't mention the venue as the owner and I are not on speaking terms.
BTW- If you play at Comic Book Collector - Is Steve J. still the owner?

I'm Chris mercer, i live in orangeville Ontario, about an hour from toronto, and i play at the gauntlet, every other saturday or so at 1 pm, were pretty easy going and don't follow the modern age golden age rule, which is terrific.
B. Wilson Victoria BC.
Don't play at venues much anymore, mostly home games with my buddy, we are the only 2 left of a group of about 8 of us that used to play regularly. Though one buddy is looking like he might be getting back into the game now too, as he's been coming around to my place having a few games (with my figures as he got rid of all his a few years back :p), and he's even bought a few packs of BaTB and said he'll pick up a few of WoS.
Local venues here are: Yellowjacket Comics in downtown Victoria. AFAIK they are the only guys in town still running regular HC tournaments (from a high of 5 venues a few years ago). Yeah, the game died a quick death here for some reason, before WK even went belly up. 2 venues closed shop, and the other 2 no longer have HC tournies, though the 4 remaining comic/game shops all stock and sell HC.

I usually play on wednesday's at 6:30 at 401 games (corner of yonge + gerrard)

Shipping might be faster, but I can guarantee that shipping costs are more. Way more. Like 2x more.
It's unfortunate, but I generally try to stay away from trading to my fellow Canucks because of Canada Post.

Because Canada Post is the biggest rip off mail service in the industrialized world?
to ship a small package to the US, it costs me $5.45 for Ground mail, $6.25 for Airmail. That's to anywhere in the US, Florida, Texas, New York, California, where ever.
To ship that same package here in Canada? A minimum of $8.00 to ship within BC. $10.00+ to ship to Alberta, and about $12.00 to ship back to Ontario/Quebec. I've never shipped past Quebec (at least I don't recall ever doing so) so I am not sure if it gets even more expensive, but I'd imagine it does.
So, yeah, for the most part I try to ship/trade to the US. It's cheaper and faster.

Yup, but it may be a bit out of your way, since we are located in Markham. We have a core group of guys (around 6-8 of us) who just meet up and play there every friday before the event starts and most of us usually play in the events afterwards. There is a tournement every friday and most of us are casual gamers (except for like 1 or 2 who are competitive players) Only thing we should warn you is that our judge (who is also the store owner) is rather non-existent during the tournement and they refer to me and my other buddy as the judge (i use to be the judge there). Therefore, the games are self-judged unless a problem arises. However, this is not a major problem since we are very fair in ruling and we are very knowledgeable in the rules. So if you are interested, come swing by this friday and join us :D

Because canada post is horrible. Seriously, when americans ship things it USPS its in the country in like 3 days. It takes more than a week for canada post to get it to you. I live quite close to toronto and if I shipped to toronto it would take about a week where USPS can get it halfway across the US in 4 or 5 days.

Torontonian here, I play at 401 on wednesdays and Dueling Grounds at Bloor and Brock (between dufferin and lansdowne) on every other sunday (when i can for both)

I know one guy killed the interest of other players, he's the one who likes to win at all cost, 500pt tourney, mostly new guys playing, and he brought Galactus so he would win the Deadpool LE price, what a guy, hehehe....

Ken here in Regina. Tramps is our gaming center and a great place to play with tons of support and many great players, young and old.
I've been in the game for about 3 years and both my son and myself love the game. As a collector I've assembled a vast majority of the figures except Horror Clix.
Love both DC and Marvel.
Too true about the Canada Post. Twice the cost to send inside Canada as opposed to to the US.

Yes, I can write a letter to a company up the street, and it will go from Edmonton, to a sorting station in Calgary (3+ hour drive away), then back and eventually get delivered.

Me and a buddy of mine (who is not on these forums...yet), buy from the Comic Warehouse. We've been itching to go and play but just busy at the moment.
I'm from Milton.
My regular Venue is Battlegrounds, but they don't have alot happening for Heroclix at the moment.
I've also gone to Conspiracy Comics in Burlington, and Comic Warehouse in Brampton.
(haven't played at any venues yet. Just getting back into the game so we've only played at eachothers houses)

I live 40 minutes north of Barrie...all the years collecting and playing i have only found a small group in my area that's into clix. There is a small gathering of players at Sir Games alot in barrie on thursday at 5pm. Unfortunately i can never seem to make it. We have quite a few home games on 3d maps and no modern/golden restrictions so that rocks.
My wife and i are looking to move out to New Brunswick this spring/summer(Fredericton/Plaster rock area) so i hope i can find some opponents out there.
