More like Immortus needs friends. I want to make a 300, 400, or 500 point team featuring Immortus cause he's a beast. The problem is, I don't know who to put him with. Figures that compliment his own abilities, ones that supplement his abilities (mastermind), and ones that would just be awesome to use with him. Theme is optional. Any help is greatly appreciated

I like to put guys like Professor Ivo or Blackhand near him... cheap clix that can get their life back.

As for who else to use, since he'll be the only one using prob in many cases, using well pointed characters that have useful die-rolling mechanics (blades claws fangs is easy, but i'm sure there are others) are useful.

I Like to add Iron Lad to the equation cheap taxi with invuln and shape change helps keep immortus alive and well

Iron Lads a good idea too but i think i'll stick with black hand as mastermind fodder. like iron lad, he has damage reducers and can fly, but he's cheaper, has regeneration in a good spot, and has some opening psychic blast. i was thinking of having an anti stealth fig like BB Talia. she also adds some more outwit to the team and some good offense. those three put the total at 291, i think i should make it a 400 pt team as i would like to have someone with an up front move and attack power and some perplex

Floronic Man maybe? He can provide hindering terrain and barrier and he also has regeneration at the end. I've also seen Gorilla Man since he has toughness and Regeneration. M-11 could work because of his regeneration AND the fact that he is just plain useful. There are better ideas, but these are some I didn't see mentioned yet.

I just ran a Immortus 400 pointer last week. The Format was Silver Age (All figs legal, no feats or bfcs).

Immortus
Per Degaton
Rip Hunter
Dream Girl
(Forbush Man and Franklin Richards pogs)

This is Future theme and outwit/probability control fun theme.

This build doesn't let you take full advantage of Immortus's Mastermind but really you only need to shrug off 1 hit, maybe 2 with the pogs. So much probability control may drive your opponents insane though.

But if you plan on going theme he would be the best taxi fooder IMO

lol wow Probability Control on every fig plus 2 uses from theme. that'd be almost impossible to get a bad roll especially with immortus preventing your opponent from using it too.

that would be a great team but unfortunately i don't have either ahab or ghost rider. i'm not worrying too much about theme with this build because i don't have that many figs sharing keywords with immortus or they are all too pricey to run with him (Rulers). and especially because i'd like to keep it in modern age. here is what i have to work with theme-wise
Future:
MM Bishop
Iron Lad
Lightning Lord
Karate Kid
Tharok

Past:
Max Mercury (impossible to make theme lol)

Ruler:
Kingpin
Namora
Pluto
Ronan the Accuser
Doom (Mystical)
Dr. Doom (Starter)
Mole Man
Miek
Black Panther
Gorilla Grodd
The Joker (Emperor)

He might be about the best Master Mind fodder available now. Outside of pogs I suppose...
