Quick question: If I mastermind damage to someone with Super Senses, can that figure roll to avoid damage? Or does the damage go past SS? I figure since MM damage doesn't go through Toughness or Invul. it wouldn't go past SS, but I'm not sure.
When damage is transferred via Mastermind.... it is not considered an 'attack'
Super Senses will activate when the figure is the target of a successful Close or Ranged combat attack.
Therefore, a figure that has damage Masterminded to it will NOT get to roll for Super Senses/Impervious.
If damage is Masterminded to a figure with Invulnerability or Toughness, those powers will still reduce the damager received.

so if a fig with Impervious gets damage master-minded to him, then it's as if he has Invulnerability, i.e. just take 2 off?
Impervious would not trigger at all and all the damage would be applied to him. Although the damage is transferred, the target status still remains on the original target.
Hope this helps.

are you certain about this? I'm only asking because Mastermind specifically states "Any damage-reducing powers possessed by the character receiving the damage reduces this damage per the standard rules. " And Impervious is without a doubt a damage-reducing power.

Impervious is a damage-reducing power but the circumstances that trigger a defense power must be meant. Toughness & Invulnerability only need to be subject to power effects or attacks to trigger their defense. Impervious needs to be specifically targetted in order for it to be triggered.
Unfortunately, Mastermind damage is effect damage and not considered attack damage - so Impervious doesn't get activated.
So are Super Senses and Impervious identical as far as what can bypass them (not counting Psychic Blast)?
And in an unrelated question, can a figure with Super Strength which is holding an item be carried normally by a friendly flying figure?

No, the triggers aren't the same. Super Senses only requires the figure be hit by an attack, whereas Impervious requires that the figure be the target of an attack. Energy Explosion splash damage, for instance, will entirely bypass Impervious but will still be subject to the dodge roll for Super Senses.
For the most part, Super Senses can be used if there was a comparison against the figure's defense.
And no, a figure holding an object may not be carried.
That truly is an excellent way of wording the differences:
Super Senses avoids any attack or effect which is rolled and compares against the target's defense (so Poison would still bypass it)
while Impervious only avoid attacks which directly target the figure (which I already knew).
Thanks for the help!
if a figure with super senses gets mind controlled can that figure roll for miss since an attack must be successfully made?

Another good example of how the wording of Impervious has "broken" the power.
