Sinister Syndicate & Perplex Question

Here's the situation: I have a Vet. Bullseye adjacent to a Vet. Doombot and I also have a Vet. Doc Ock behind them. I use Ock to Perplex Bullseye's attack value to 12. Now here's the question: If I copy the Syndicate team with my Doombot, does he use the original 11 or the new 12 attack value from Bullseye?

He takes the twelve from bullseye. Throw an E Ultron in there and you have a 14 attack across the board. They don't even have to all be adjacent but you can create an SS conga line and they all share the highest attack. I also like to throw E boomerang in there for a cheap double 14 EE attack.

Isn't it illegal to perplex a figure with RCE (i.e. Bullseye)?

Therefore, wouldn't the Doombot be the piece that would have to be perplexed, but after borrowing Bullseye's starting AV of 11?

You can't perplex bullseye and have him USE RCE, but you can perplex him to your hearts content otherwise.
