View Full Version : A good GL LE idea.
My apologies if this idea has already been mentioned.
I think it would be really great if whoever is in charge of the Inquest Green Lantern mailaway figure would include a Green Lantern Clix Ring for those people who ordered one. You, know, it'd be green with the GL symbol printed on it, and you can use it to turn your clix's bases.
Whattayathink?
I've actually painted mine like that already.:) It would be a good idea though.
I tried painting my clix ring, but the paint beaded up and wouldn't take. I was using warhammer paints. What paint did you use?

Do what you do for any plastic figure. Give it a decent basecoat, THEN paint it.
I painted mine up like the Batman Ally logo using Warhammer paints. So, it should work.
Yeah... I probably dropped it in a pool of butter at the local Red Lobster, and that's why the paint didn't take. And also why that ring is so delicious...

Try using spray primer. Quick, cheap, and easy. Just like the Thug....
A green lantern shaped turning ring would be neat, good idea
Have the logo recessed slightly so that the parts required to turn the fig would be just above the ring. It wouldn't be Exactly like a green lantern ring, but it could be pretty cool looking
has the mail away form for the le gl already come out
No, not yet. the ad for it appears in April's Inquest Magazine. (I think)

The mage knight rings that come in starter packs each have "faction" symbol on them so when I saw the teams in Hypertime I was hoping for a GL ring. Stupid Hypertime rings.
I ended up painting mine too :)
I use the testor paints in the model section of Meijers never thought about sealing though
on a similiar note it turned out awful. i really am bad at the whole perfect circle with two equal lines thing
