Want to really mess someone up and piss them off? Use this team:

V Intergang Medic: 29 pts
E Intergang Medic: 26 pts
V Doombot: 38 pts
V Doombot: 38 pts
E Doombot: 33 pts
E Doombot: 33 pts
V Black Cat: 36 pts
R Riddler: 34 pts
R Harley Quinn: 27 pts
U The Key: 89 pts
U Moondragon: 71 pts
V Vampire Lackey: 20 pts
V Skrull Warrior: 17 pts
V Thug: 10 pts

TOTAL: 501 Points.

4 Outwits... 2 Mind Controlers(Both with Super Senses)... 2 Perplexers... All the doombots have a 1 in 6 chance of avoiding an attack with the Skrull team ability... this team's almost perfect I tell you!

ummm, perfect you say? It COUOLD work, but on a 500 point team, I beleive someone will trot out a couple heavy hitters and you could be toast pretty quick, but it IS good in theory, even if you DID mix Marvel and dc, wich I am VEHEMENTLY against.

If you don't like that team, drop The Key and the V Thug and put in V Firelord! And whats wrong with mixing DC and Marvel?

I'd get rid of the Thug and upgrade the E Doombots to V. More chances for leadership.

well, LEGALLY there is nothing wrong with mixing dc and Marvel. I just don't like it, and will not do it. Just my preference though

You also have 501 points on a 500 point team. So, technically, it's not even a legal army ...

Yes I too would not play against an army even if it was only 1 point over.

And your so called outwit team has no black panther

Watch the attacks, 18D will be a big problem even with PC and two perplexers. If I was on the other side, I would either gun for the perplexers or the intergang agents. Then the PC. KO any of these things and your team would fall apart. At least throw in one heavy hitter with high attack and protect it.

Generally, the point of having point totals (as it were) is to set an indicator of what you may have up to, but not over.

Otherwise, where do you draw the line? If a 501-point force is okay, how about a 502-point? What about 503? 504? 505? 520? If you're not going to be firm about it, what's the point of making a limit at all?

Additionally, in tournament play, you have to set hard limits, in order to ensure that people have a level playing field. If players A and B are playing in a tournament, but A knows that he will be allowed to play a 301-point team, whereas B thinks that it is a strict 300-points, but knows that he could build a much better team with just one more point, isn't he at a serious disadvantage? It's best to leave everything like that at the door, and just have everyone play at an even level.

Oh yeah, about the team itself. Looks kind of amusing, but I suspect the weak link would be the Intergang Medics. Once they're gone, all you have is a bunch of Doombots, and some other random stuff.

One of the better Outwit Teams I've played against was 300 points:
3x Exp Black Panther'
1x Vet Panther
3x Exp Quicksilver
2x Rookie Scarlet Witch
1x Hydra Medic (Exp? I forget now)

The team worked well, although it was an incredibly slow match. Basically you've got a response to every threat, with the exception of lacking any range to speak of. Of course, there also isn't much in terms of aggresion - Panther is the best attacker. Good additions would be a Bullseye (to peg annoyances like taxis), an LE Clay Quartermain (8 range EE with a 9 attack, 2 prinited damage for 2 clicks, then Willpower for 22 points)for turtles, Exp Black Cat in place of the Rookie Scarlet Witches (I'd only swap out one, since they only get 2 clicks of PC), or something along those lines. Nick Fury would work wonderfully too, as he can not only shoot from Stealth, but can provice some Outwit, should Panther lose it. Lastly, SHIELD Snipers are a godsend. Plain and simple. Put one in hindering terrain, and you're set. 2 PC'ers and 3-4 Outwitters pretty much assure you you can make most any shot.

For gods sakes you guys take these point totals way too seriously! I mean, 5 points one way or the other can't make that much of a difference, but it can be hard to get a team to exactly 500 points or whatever.
