Hey everyone, I am just starting to play again. The venue I play at uses 300 point team builds usually. I quit playing/collecting around when sinister came out. I started back when Origins was released. I was hopingto get some feedback on the team I've put together, and any suggestions for other figs I could use. I only het to play on weekends since nobody I know plays heroclix. okay here is what I've managed to come up with
VENOM ( HOT ) VAMPIRISM, TAKEDOWN, ENTANGLE
JAKEEM THUNDER ( ORIGINS ) PROTECTED
okay that leaves me with 66 points. I'd like to have some range. maybe with incap to tie up the other players figs. I plan on using VENOM as my main attaker. I plan on having JAKEEM taxi him while he can. Hopefully I can get some extra tokens on his main attaker with takedown. make his attaker unable to target my other figs with entangle. If he happens to get by my hi defense with JAKEEM and probability contol I'll still have super senses, shape change, and vampirism to heal myself with. Seems kinda cheap/dirty/broken but them's the breaks. sorry for the long explanation, nut I thought it would help everyone out giving me advice. Here's the figs I was considering and why.
V GREEN ARROW ( COSMIC JUSTICE ) 50 PTS. PROTECTED
has stealth 2 targets and incapicitate for crowd control.
V SHIELD SNIPER ( CLOB TIME ) 18 PTS. PROTECTED
or E SHIELD SNIPER ( SINISTER ) 22PTS. PROTECTED
E LOCKJAW ( FAN FORCES ) 29PTS. PROTECTED
LOCKJAW taxi for my snipers.
M-11 ( HOT ) 59PTS.
only 6 range but great def and atk with natural 3dmg. willpower, regeneration, and psy blast.
THUNDERER OF QWARD 50PTS. protected or ambidextrous
only 6 range breakthrough energy explosion and enhancement. enhancement would be great for JAKEEM and his perplex.
R HAWKEYE ( FAN FORCES ) 61PTS.
has 8 range, 2 targets, and running shot.
That's all I could come up with. Thanks for taking the time to read everything. I wouldn't need any advice if I actually had anyone I could actually play with and try our my new teams. Since I only get to play 1 or 2 times a month, I really hate going to play and getting creamed. I have another team involvin RAMPAGING HULK and VOX. It seems with both there special abilites that I could constantly get new items to heal VOX with. I also could use my mailbox indoor item ( i think that's the one ) to bosst Hulks def by 2 to help keep him on his special power click. Has anyone else tried that out yet?? If so how did it go???
P.S. I am also looking to start trading on here. I have 100's of extra clix. I just hope that trading on here is fair and that most people actually send off there clix. I have THORBUSTER, marvel ARES, JANE FOSTER, PARALLAX, MANTICORE ( city of heroes ). That's just a few of the clix I have extras of that I think people might want. Only problem is I can't figure out how to set up my have/want list. I see the H/W button on the bottom of my reply to post box. But whenever I click on it I don't know what to do. If someone could help me with that it would be greatly appreciate. That way I could start to trade with people on here. thanks for everyones time and effort.
