Mixing paints...

Often I find myself mixing paints to get just the right color. Sometimes it's an old boxes that are about to go in the trash or on the drawing board that I do most of my painting on. Thus I find myself curious as to what other people use to mix their paints in/on. What do you use?

For a buck or more at Wal-Mart and many other stores one can purchase plastic, washable paint pallets. There are the traditional round ones and the square "six-pack" versions. Both types have several indentations for mixing paint.

Bottle caps for largish amounts. My left thumbnail for small, trace amounts.
