i think that you could get swarmed very easily. iron fists, spider-man. Not to mention mystics would hurt you bad

Not sure if you have it or not, but the Eleha'al Vine would help you out in repairing Mystics damage.

Damage production is VERY low. Cap is doing 3, Talia is only doing 2. Is it funny that your second highest damage dealer is Marvel Girl with a TK/HO?

Try this variant of your team which still uses Talia/HoT Cap:

Captain America 72
Lyssa Drak 72
Talia 86
Jason Blood 44
Cave Carson 24
Total 298

Use Jason Blood as Mastermind fodder if you take 2 or 3 damage on Talia, then he can morph into Etrigan and give you PC and Perplex. Lyssa makes Talia more dangerous by being able to Perplex her damage value, and Cap's too.

What is your goal for this 300 point tournament? That could dictate a lot for the build.

My goal is to be able to strike with Cap first and use taila to outwit and use psychic blast on any heavy hitters.

ya that team isn't that good plus what if some one has fortitude on a heavy with a support fig and some low hitters with outwit and perplex you would be dead ..
