Got a Tourney on March 9th, Mixed (DC/Marvel) 300Pt Constructed, this is first draft team I've come up with:

Batman (V)
Robin (E)
Invisible Girl (E)
Hercules (R)
Sabretooth (R)
Shield Medic (E)

Now before anyone says "Get Batman (E)!!" I would except, er, I don't own one (yet)! Basically, Bats & Robin are the range guys, Sue Storm is the flyer but can generally help out anyone in a fix (and stay pretty stealthy, plus her defence is excellent), Hercules & Sabretooth are cheap brawlers (plus Sabretooth has a click of Stealth in him) and the Medic is there for...er....well....matters of a medical nature.

This is only a first draft, bear in mind, but I like what I've put together here. However, I'm bound to think so (due to bias!!), so has anyone got any constuctive comments as to say what might be wrong or what's good about this team? There's a fair bit of stealth in them, and I think they can give some of the tougher characters a run for their money also.

Thanks for reading!

You have no taxis. It is a very tough team in hand to hand but you should have at least one flyer, two preferably. I know you probably like batman a lot, but he should be cut for two good flyers. This frees up a lot of points to work with. I would suggest some figures but I have no idea what you have to choose from, so this will be up to you. I do know one thing, anyone with taxis will tear you apart unless you plan to play indoors. Mobility is one key element to a good team.

I hope this info was helpfull to you in some way. good luck in the future.

I guess then that Invisible Girl (E) - who flies - won't be enough to help my mobility? I do like Batman (V), I played the guy in a sealed booster tourney and he was a rock, but I understand that Batman (E) is the most effective piece in Heroclix.

So, let's say I get Batman (E) and drop the Veteran version, this leaves me with 24 points left and the team looking like:

Batman (E)
Robin (E)
Invisible Girl (E)
Sabretooth (R)
Hercules (R)
Medic (E)

So, would I be better off having

a) A Vulture (R) as a taxi and a Lackey (R) for some moveable terrain

OR

b) Use a Yellowjacket (R) as a taxi, with the fact that she has a little bit of incapacitate too?

I can both do A or B (since I own these figures), but this whole strategy relies on me getting my hands on a Batman (E) of course!
