Well I know there is 4 peices to each booster.
counting from top what is the rarity range for each slot, and is there certian peices that can only go in a certian slot? like fliers?

Top
Slot 1 - Rarity 1, 2, or 3
Slot 2 - Wild card slot - Rarity 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5
Slot 3 - Rarity 3, 4, or 5
Slot 4 - Rarity 2, 3, or 4
Bottom

So it is possible to end up with all four figures being a Rarity Level 3, or all rookies, or even 2 uniques.

Hmm

Rarity 1 only has 2 chances of appearing??

Rarity 2 has 3 chances per box of appearing

Rarity 3 has 4 chances of appearing

Rarity 4 has 3 chances of appearing

Rarity 5 only has 2 chances of appearing

does that strike anyone else as a bit skewed?

Aron:

I'm not saying that Funky Jett's report is accurate. However, do remember that in Infinity Challenge, for example, there are only 10 different figures with a rarity of 1, and there are 22 different figs with a rarity of 2. Statistically, even if level 1 figs were produced 1.5 times as much as rarity 2, rarity 2 figs will appear slightly more freqently than rarity 1. Statistically, numbers should appear "skewed" if, indeed, more rarity 1s are produced than 2s than produced as 3s...and so on (as WK reports).

Another way to have fun with the numbers is thusly:

There are 12 uniques in the Infinity Challenge set of 150--12:150 or 8%.

We know Uniques are packed one every six boosters--1:24 or 4%

If equal amounts of all figures were produced and randomly packed, one should get one unique out of every 3 boosters, so we know that each level is incrementally greater produced than the next level. This accounts for Funky Jetts "skewed" bell curve.

It'd be fun to play with the numbers some more to extrapolate the rough percentages each level of rarity is produced more than another. Based on the 1:24 packing ratio of level-6 uniques I'm sure it could be figured out. I'll get crunching...
