On Saturday our venue held a 1000 pt, 4 on a map, fun afternoon. I love Amazons and hadn't played my Blackest Night Wonder Woman yet, so this was my chance to play a bunch of my favourite ladies.

My team consisted of:
BN Wonder Woman
Philipus
Amazon
CR Wonder Girl (E)
Queen Hippolyta
SUperwoman (V)
Nu'bia
JL Wonder Woman (Justice Legion A)
JL Wonder Woman (Artemis)

My three opponents played the Blackest Night set + Black Hand, a bunch of X-Men and DC villains (playing Extant, who's adjacency to the other Wonder Woman worried me). The guy playing Blackest Night and I didn't attack each other at first and I wasn't close enough to the guy playing DC villains, so I focused on the X-Men. It was tough but luckily he split his team between me and the DC villains.

I kept my BN Wonder Woman in the back so she could PC and charge in when needed. Phillipus did a great job, attacking then PCing, then PCing and Outwiting. Wonder Girl was carrying and Enhancing range attacks for WW and Artemis (I kept her behind as well, saving her object for the end of the game) and protecting Hippolyta. After whittling down some of the X-Men, The Atom started healing his figs with the Indigo object so I turned to destroy it. He saw that as an act of war, so he started attacking me.

I let the X-Men alone and charged the Blackest Night set. Black Hand is quite the piece, he was really challenging. I'm not sure how I was able to damage his Wonder Woman, but that was my major goal. Black Hand would reduce my defences and Lex Luthor was PWing. It was pretty even for a while. I positioned Hippolyta to base his Wonder Woman, Atom and Amon Sur and she hung on for a really long time while the rest of my team attacked the rest.

I eventually took out the Blackest Night set and with only BN Wonder Woman (on her 2nd click), and Phillipus and Wonder Girl on their next to last clicks to take out Marvel Girl and Iceman.

All in all, it was a really fun afternoon. I never touched the DC villains though. I'm sure it would have gone very differently if the other players hadn't focused on each other first and allowed me to position slowly.
