The Colossal Convention Manhattan is selling for much less now.

I agree that the Watchmen set as a whole is very disappointing. I really want the Zen Manhattan and Big Figure, but I am not willing to pay $100 + tax for it.

Guys...glad the cast is back.

I agree with the sentiments about the WoSM brick fig. I would rather buy this piece straight up, and have a cool/playable figure. Cosmic Spidey is in the set, why not have the Tri-Sentinel (Spidey got the Uni-power to fight the T-S).

Brick Spidey is kinda bulky, Jack Black or Frank Black is an acceptable comparison(I was listening to the Pixies earlier today).

I'm buying the Watchmen set(sorry Gudda). I 'm not the biggest fan of the series, but I love Heroclix, and hope this opens the door for other sets.

I wish WM had a bigger character selection, more Minutemen, and less duos. I agree that they should have a smaller set for those interested in the core team.

Listening to this and several of the last podcasts makes me wonder why you do a Heroclix themed show? You don't seem to like the product they are putting out or anything new. If I was new to clix and was listening to this, I don't think I would want to play clix at all.

We love the product of heroclix. We are also not patsy's for wizkids. If there is somthing I do not like that they are doing i am going to voice it. Watchmen is a great looking set and alot of the pieces i would be glad to own , but the way it was marketed upset me. Brave and the Bold was a cluster F , but if wizkids came out and admited that it was rushed on some fronts there would be alot of forgiveness. WOS looks to be a great set I even have a thread giving them kudos ... I love the game .. but i will call Wizkids out if i think they are doing something wrong. .. THanx for listening though

I agree with Gudda. My roots run deep with Heroclix. During their 1 year MIA we were still putting the Clixcast out and we will continue to do so. There are podcasts where we give all the glory to Wizkids and others where we don't. They are the same things that are voiced on these forums day in day out. I am sure when the Gen-Con edition comes out later this week, you will see how much we like Wizkids. Plus the fact that we both just spent 4 days around the game we like so much. Tons of other games at Gen-Con...were we playing any of them? Nope.

And I keep listening. I enjoy the podcast, but if you listen to your reviews of stuff the last few times, you spend most of your time bagging on what you don't like and not really pointing out anything positive. Especially Gudda. I believe during the hiatus he even commented that he wasn't playing anymore which begged the question, why are we talking about it? I like you guys and what you do. I just want to cut out the complaining a bit. A lot of that time could be spent on team building ideas, wish lists, etc. I paid 80.00 for my Watchmen set from my local comic shop. My guess is that Wizkids is just trying out some stuff in this first year of the new group to see how it works. Starting down the road of making non-compatible games like Gremlins and Iron Maiden is a bad idea. As is a 100.00 box set. These things should work themselves out though. They will not sell very well and they will get the message. I have listened to every one of your podcasts and have watched you guys grow as,....umm...broadcasters? I even listened when you spend 40 minutes talking about Oz clix. I love you guys, just wanted to give you some feedback.

Thank you for the feed back .. I really have been down on the last couple of things wizkids has put out. Im sure the trend will turn the other way with WOS .. I Like so much from this set and th changes from the last one. I never quit playing clicks during the Hiatus though. Might have stopped tourneys for a while, but never quit playing.

I agree with Dare, I listen to your show fairly regularly, and your recent tone has been kind of depressing. I'm extremely excited for the Watchman set, and would like it if you guys could have talked a bit about the positive things. Now whenever I see the word watchmen on here it's depressing because everyone only #####es about it. You guys should really try and see the ups and downs of a set instead of just talking about what you don't like, i personally find positive chat much more invigorating than negative chat. BatB was a pretty bad set, but they tried a bunch of new mechanics that I think will enhance the game once they have been perfected a bit, and hellp it feel fresh with each new set.

Just saying, even if Watchmen didn't incluce a couple of minor characters, it does not devalue the figures they did include, look at the figures they included individually instead of all at once and it makes a better set.
