ive been playing for a while now, i jsut dont see whats good about him, id use vet logan for the range point cost, or even bullseye.
please enlighten me
It's Leadership, which is usually good, but even better for small fig teams with SHIELD units, which tend to not have enough actions.
It's Stealth with Range. Only 3 other Marvel figures have it, Black Cat, Black Widow, and Invisible Giril/Woman (I think), and none of them are as good at attacking as Nick.
It's Running Shot with OutWit, which can be handy in mid game.
Is Nick as good as some other Uniques like Moondragon or Super Skrull? Probably not. Is he better than a lot of figs? Definately. He's not as great as bullseye or or Logan, probably, depending on what you want, but then, many would put those two figs near the very top for best bang-for-buck.
I'd say he's above average in usefulness, and near the top for fun.

in reference to running shot and outwit....
It cant be used in the middle of running shot action correct? it has to be done before or afterwards correct?

If you're playing all SHIELD against, say, all Hydra, He's da man.

Versatility.
First off, you have to have some shield guys with him, or else it kinda defeats the purpose of having the leader of SHIELD on your team.
Use his leadership for the extra action, and either fire at 2 targets enhanced by shield from stealth, or use fury to boost the damage to one figure by boosting a sniper or trooper.
After that, use his outwit to circumvent annoying powers possessed by the other team, and running shot a couple figures.
Later on, keep some Shield next to him for when he gains mastermind to keep him in the game until he can be healed, or get out of harm's way.
Fury is a blast to play with a shield team. Will you win them all? No. But you cant win them all no matter who you take so you might as well use Fury with some shield and have fun winning OR losing.

One thing that Nick is great at is large (500+points) wildcard teams.
If you want you wildcards to have the shield ability, but want a figure thats more resiliant than a thug than Nick is your only pick.
Also, figures like logan, firelord bullseye... they are all damage dealers but figures like Fury take different positions on a team.

I put Fury on almost every team I make, except those with a specific purpose (like certain teams). I try to keep in in some bushes for as long as possible, and usually I try to push him past his first click as soon as he has something to gain from it. At that point, the trick is to try to make sure he's got 1 token on him as long as possible, but make sure he's doing something to get it, since walking around is suspicious. An opponent with often taxi in a heavy hitter or another threat, and in response you can push Fury to shoot the taxi. Then he gets Outwit, and everybody on your tam gets free shots.
This seems like an obvious tactic, but you'd be surprised how many people don't expect you'd push him past Stealth. Nick Fury is probably the best bait figure ever :)
