Impervious is a damage reducing power.

Psychic Blast ignores damage reducing powers.

PB ignores Imp.

Now i just need a judge to back me up....

I'm no judge,but:

The description of PB says it ignores any power that reduces damage.

Not that it cannot be reduced.

The difference is: The former means that Impervious, which has an aspect that reduces damage, is ignored. You can't even test.

The second wording would mean that while Impervious would take full dmg on a 1-4, they would still get their "super-senses" like 5-6 chance to avoid it entirely.

Impervious is a 'damage reduction' power. It is completely ignored by PB. You cannot ignore part of a power.

As I understand, there are two aspects to Impervious, 1st is the dodge on a roll of 5or6. 2nd is the reduction of damage. So Psychic blast can be rolled against to avoid the attack altogether, just like mind control and then is not affected by the reduction ability, again like mind control. No coincidence that most characters that have psychic blast also have mind control.

When in doubt consult the rules:

FAQ:
Psychic Blast
Psychic Blast attacks ignore the effects of Impervious.

PB ignores Impervious completely - no roll, no damage reduction.

Keep up the good fight, Psylockeslover :)
