So we've got all the U-Foes now that X-ray has made it up on the Units page. Some thoughts...
1. Vapor is the most expensive and has the most clix? She's a great tie-up piece and will be tricky to take down, but I would have sacrificed one click on her and given it to Ironclad.
2. X-ray is nasty - 9 AV and 17 DV throughout, and can't take more than one click of damage in close combat, AND he's a sharpshooter with Pulse Wave on the first click. 12 move with Phase/Teleport, put him in the middle of your opponent's team and explode. But why is he a Rookie when his teammates are Experienced? I guess that is because he is young, since he's had his powers as long as the others have.
3. Thank goodness all his teammates have flight or TK so poor Ironclad can get into the action.
4. Vector's SP is going to be tough too - automatic TK with a click of damage. He land your opponent's piece giftwrapped for Ironclad to pound.
They add up to 288 points (thank you to the designers who seem to have lost their perverse habit of making teams add up to a few points more than the nearest 100 point build total). We'll see what the Feats might be in this set, but I think at the moment you gotta go Protected on Ironclad, esp. as he can easily go down with one punch from several current super-strong figures, and then Alias on X-ray. If you are trying to blow up a mini-nuclear bomb in the middle of your opponent's force, any chance to have him duck a hit is more than worth it.
This is a very interesting team, maybe more interesting than they are in the comics. Can't wait to get them out on the floor. Thoughts?
