Daredevil 2 and Spin off movie

Its now offical, Fox and Regency Enterprises announced today that they are starting development on both the Daredevil sequel and Elektra movies.

This is what was said about the Elektra movie - "The new ELEKTRA story will be set after the events depicted in DAREDEVIL. Jennifer Garner will reprise the role she brought to life in that film, and script development will begin immediately."

Does DD have any other villains to fight? If not, I suspect a vengence theme....

I'm guessing the next Daredevil will be based on the storyline where Kingpin found out who daredevil was and started to destory his life as Matt Murdock, almost driving Daredevil insane.

Now I'm not the biggest DD fan, I just know of the story I've never read it. Anyone whos read it and can offer some more details it would be great.
