I'd like to go on record saying i don't like the new wolverine. We waited WAY to long for him to not rock out (the last non-Zombie was in Sinister). With that said here is a shot dial and long dial Wolverine:
V Wolverine
Team: X-men
Range: 0 :bolt:
Points: 88
Keywords: Martial Arts, Mutant, Past, Spy, Soldier, X-Men, Warrior, Weapon X

Speed - Berserker Rage: Wolverine can use Charge and Flurry
Defense - Healing Factor: When Wolverine's dial is turned from taking damage, stop taking damage wehn this power appears and roll 1D6. On 4-6 heal Wolverine 1 damage. This power can't be ignored
Annoying, yet admirable
Support = Blood Transfusion
Long dial:
U Wolverine
Team: X-men
Range: 0 :bolt:
Points: 118

Speed - Berserker Rage: Wolverine can use Charge and Flurry
Defense - Advanced Healing Factor: Wolverine can use Toughness and Regeneration. When using Regeneration, do not subtrat 2.
Damage - Hunter: Wolverine can use Leap/Climb and Exploit Weakness

Wow intresting dials. The short one's SP is very brutal you effectivly have to hit him five times(according to odds) unless you outwit the SP to get him past it, and if somone is lucky he could be industrictable. I just noticed the X-Men TA as well yikes!! I think the first click of support is a bit too much tha last one is an intresting twist for wolvie but the one on the third click is just abusive. I think at 88 pts he's more resilent than most 120 pt bricks. If you slap fortitude or somehow make unoutwitable it's just crazy.
That said I think it really represents Wolvie well. I'd probubly still use him at 100 pts.

Thanks for the input. Glad you liked him. He probably should be about 100. I would have just liked to see the WoS Wolverine at 88. THEN he'd be good.
What do think about the long dial?

I think I see what you are trying to indicate with the long dial. He lays there dead and may regenerate if you dont finish him off.
What you may concider is some kind of lazarus pit thing.
Maybe when he died. Place him on his card. After 2-3 turns. he can roll for regeneration and be placed back on the map?
I dunno. the rest of the dial looks about standard for wolverine. I have always hated the direct association of B/F/C with him..i know its the first powe rthat comes to mind... but a vampire lackey can do that. He should have something better. Especially at higher point costs.
Maybe just BFC that's penetrating. Expensive but accurate.
The first one I like a bit more. I said a few weeks ago in some different thread that wolvering should have something to indicate his adamantium skelleton. Meaning he takes damage like anyone else... he is not super resistant (ie toughness invul etc)
What he does have is when he takes LARGE amounts of damage, then it is mitigated by his bones. Which your dial does a good enough job at suggesting.
Very interesting ideas. Does wolverine really give blood transfusions in battle? And oddly because of game mechanics, they would be more powerfull than his own regeneration.
A blood transfusion might be, give wolvering a clix of damage, give the target 3 Xfusion tokens on their card. At the begining of each turn they heal for 1 and remove 1 token.
Convoluted..i know..maybe accurate though?

I originally had the support as "Wolverine can use Support. If he heals a character 2 or more, deal 1 damage to him" However i wanted to keep the specials to a minimum.

The long dial is good as well. I like the dead clicks but I'd put shapechange on them to indicate that ppl think he's dead and therefore won't attack him. The two middle clicks of no movement power just before he goes down should be when he's crazyest battlefrenzying lost it to the beast not almost dead weak as a kitten. I'd trade the values for the 2 before but keep the powers the same and extend the battlefrenzy to those 2 clicks as well.

Yeah i agree on the keeping specials to a minimum. It can be hard but it is for the greater good.
