View Full Version : A 500 pt team not worried about EE
Okay, i have a team made, and i havent tested it yet, i dont think its all powerfull or anything , not so good team lead to ideas for great teams, and remember that i know energy explosion can hurt me, but i dont care. okay, here it goes,
V blastaar
V doombot
E doombot
E shield medic
R aim medic
U spiderman (ic)
V toad
R skrull warrior
E human torch
E black panther
perfect 500
Here is some of the plan ( i dont want to give it all away because i want to here what other people will think of without too many ideas) in a pack of 6, blastaar in front, with doombots on his sides, spiderman right behind him, with medics on his sides. they stick together in a pack(EE weakness i know!), and doombots raise blastaars attack 2(hydra power) and can have him do 2 more clicks of damadge if i want (sheild power) and it wont cost me actions (brotherhood power). I can even make the medic do an extra click too. Spidey shares his 18 def. with all surrounding guys, medic can heal if need be, can also attack. the blastaar and doom bots fly, so they fairy around the other 3 (doom bots move for free too [brotherhood power]) so i move six guys for the price of 1. toad and skrull warrior are there basically for their powers, but are also good clean up and for back up (oh yeah doom bots get skrull power too so 1/6 not hit) spidey shares d, but is also a great weapon after they weaken my formation and i decide to break it off, ( he also gets to share everyone team powers) and human torch taxis panther to rid people of pesky powers, and also is not bad (+ i love pulse wave) and has a good power that will benefit my team, while panther is also a good player and isnt useless without outwit. Well thats all i have to say for now. Questions Comments Suggestions?
Oh yeah, and please dont say its weak because it is too team reliant, there is no perfect team, every team has a "weakness" but a good player should recognize when that "weakness" is being exploited and work around it. ANother thing is a couple of them have leadership and i dont think that i have just one guy that if you take him out im screwed. please help with your welcome suggestions thank you
oh yes, an the team thing is more of a bonus than a crutch.
Thank You.

Um....:o
Well, I was going to make some suggestions, and give some constructive criticism, but in your last 2 posts, youve basically taken away my ability to say anything at all.
So uh.....
Have fun with your team I guess.
If you feel that strongly about it, our suggestions arent going to do much good anyway, because they will probably fall on deaf ears.
Besides that, noone wants carpel tunnel syndrome typing to someone who basically outlined everything we cant respond with.
1. You dont want to hear about the weaknesses. Okay, weakness in the team is what usually gets us to advise you on different figures.
2. You dont want to hear that it's too team reliant. Okay, but whatcha gonna do when those figures with the one team ability are Ko'd?
3. As for not being worried about EE, I would be if I were you, because an EE figure with an attack value the likes of E or V Ultron, with a couple shield guys in tow, could take this team apart in a turn or two after first contact.
anyway, it sounds like your team is done, and you should go use it in a battle, and find out what is wrong with it the old fashioned way.
You covered what I was going to say Stinger.
Ultron would tear that team apart by turn 2 with 2-3 Shield personnel at his side.
But he doesn't want to hear this so I don't know why I am typing..................

Just curious can you do this? Seems like both would be active at the same time. I thought only 1 at a time but you could use multiple during your turn.
From the FAQ put out on 2-14:
• A “wildcard” figure can only one team ability at a time.
Just curious if what he listed is even possible.

its not possible.
Doombots declare one team ability during the attack. Hydra would boost Blastaar's attack and that would be fine. Next attack that turn, the doombot could declare Shield and boost damage of another figure and take their action tokens.
They cannot however boost Blastaar's attack, and his damage as well during one attack.
Stinger...
He doesn't want to hear the negative because all teams have flaws and he knowsw this already.

Well, he wants suggestions on how to make the team better.
If I suggest something without telling how it is better, Id sound pretty stupid.
If you dont want to hear anything negative, then dont ask for suggestions on what to do differently, if I would change anything.
Doesnt make any sense to me. If he already knows the weakness, then he should know how to fix it.
The GLARING weakness is EE. Ultron could totally dismember this team with a couple shield guys. But, he's not worried about that......well, to each their own.
He also ignored everybody after his initial posts.
How rude!
hey listen, im sorry that i put you guys off like that, but i knew that if i didnt say anything, everyone would just focus on the team thing and EE. I know that this is a weakness, and if these are the only 2 things that you guys can see, then i am very happy with that. Okay i am open to all figure change suggestions, and this is why i figure EE is of no consquence to this team: This is just one tactic to use, if i see that they have ultron or someone like that with EE, i am not going to be a moron and keep in formation, i will break apart. The biggest weakness( i believe ) in teams is being too specialized. If a team cant function in more than one strategy, i dont think that it is all that great of a team. and why cant they do more than one power? it says that "they can use multiple abilities on any one turn" in the team ability book thing. The team abilities i consider more of a bonus, and i think that the team doesnt need to rely on them( in other words i could still use this team with no team abilities at all, although they do help alot.
So in the end, im sorry i sounded like that, i was kind of anoid at someone at the time, i was getting tired of being on the comp. and wanted to just say abunch of stuff without really thinking. Oh yeah, and i wasnt not replying, i just hadnt checked back yet. So once again sorry, and all suggestion and criticisms are welcome and appreiated. thank you

Once i kill the Spidey and the Blaastaar that team wont last long. Incap would EAT it up as well. This is a 500 point team...you want 4 or 5 power hitters[you have 2]
