Tournament this weekend 300 points, wanna tell me wich to go with?

Here it is, yet ANOTHER team from me. Got my prerequisit Unique fig(s) and a few other thigs I haven't tried yet (such as Avalanche). The Main team I am looking for comments on it the team with the Super Skrull, but I will add a couple more teams at the bottom, just so if you like one of them better, you can let me know, so here we go!

Now, I knopw if either Super Skrull or Spiral gets taken out early, I am TOAST! but here's the thing. Vulure is of course there to taxi my Skrull giving him a whopping 20 range on his first attack. Standard mandroid tactic of taxing Spiral. It's all pretty straight forward and obvious. Skrull and Spiral and Black Cat all get that extra die roll avoid getting attacked. Avalanch is there only really to protect Spiral from range untill someone gets close enough for me to tk her to the attack. I can keep him close to the medic and keep pushing him to create barriers cause hwe is easy to heal.

So what ya think?

Heya Random. I hope the PM I sent you didn't come across the wrong way.. just trying to help..

This team has some good suprise "powers" I spot them in a second because I make teams that do this as well..

the spiral/black cat/mandroid combo is so destracting, people will overlook that they are all 3 shield members.. so you can do a potentially devistating running shot with superskrull if the position works that way.

With superskrull/vulture, it might be a good idea to play a passive/aggressive game at first.. keep them behind your figures (or barrier) and then perform a running shot with Superskrull while he carries vulture.. then vulture carries him back.

This tactic can be frustrating and if they charge in to deal with superskrull, then you can unleash the spiral.

Which team are you leaning toward playing?

I think I actually prefer your perplexing team. I think it has the best balance and versatility. I've been wanting to make a team that combines Doctor Octopus and Enchantress myself, and yours looks like a good one.

Your Super Skrull team could be interesting, but SS will be a major target for your opponent. I know because it happened when I used V-Blastaar on a team, and he's only slightly more expensive. I lost him in all 3 games in the tournament and only won one of the games.

If you want a team with Dr. Doom, here's one that someone else created (or close to it) that I liked a lot and have considered using it in a tournament. I realize it doesn't fit your "Doctors" theme, but you're not out of options should you lose Doom in the fight.

Ahh, two people I can alway's count on to look at my teams for me. Thanks guy's and No Doc, the Pm was exactly what I needed. Even though I am trying to come up with litle seen combos, the allure of those I am trying to avoid is too great sometimes. I actually am leaning towards the skrull team or the one with nightcrawler, mostly because I have used neither of these figs EVER. Not even in a friendly game, so I kinda want to test them under fire, and I tend to think better when there is pressure, so to me a tourny is the perfect place to play test.

I kinda really like the perplexing team as well, ( otherwise I wouldn't have made it), but for some reason I just like the other two better.

I've never used my Nightcrawler, either, which is why I'm looking forward to using him in my X-Men team in this weekend's tournament.

Yeah, it took me for forever to actually use my nightcrawler too! but when I did it was a blast. After playing a bunch of my regular team types, I made something like.

Nightcrawler
LE Catwoman
LE Yellojacket (wildcard)
Exp Black cat
Veteran Logan

and the team was so fun. Endgame.. my healthy catwoman and nightcrawler vrs. Hulk, Daredevil and wolverine and with so much manuverability, I was able to KO the lot. fun stuff. It's amazing what nightcrawler can do if you take out thier taxis.

I like your new Team but I think your nightcrawler team is better if I was entering a tourny i would play with your nightcrawler team.

I am new to this forum and your the best team builder i have seen on here yet.

i had bad experiences with a nightcrawler/superskrull team using a vulture aim and shield medic and a black panther

superskrulls defense is just too low, and he only as one click of running shot. after that he gets plasticity which doesnt serve much purpose for him, and then hes in real trouble.

nightcrawler is a great harasser but is too expensive to only do that job. he cant hurt the major figures in the game with some perplex help and his defense while pretty good, isnt good enough to stop firelord from nuking him with a 6.

and as far as spiral - i havent seen a person yet who has played her and ended up liking her all that much - she looks great on that first 2 clicks, but after that shes just meat on a stick. i waxed her with one shot from a weakened super skrull followed up with a bcf from black panther of all people.

sadly i find that you almost have to plan against on specific figure with every game you play - FireLord. how to beat his defense, and how to survive his massive damage. Yes he is cheesy as hell, but that doesnt stop someone from using him. because he works, really well actually. i can almost guarantee you that at least one person will use him at your tourney.

anyway with that said i do like your team i just thing you need to find a replacement for superskrull i dunno maybe an experienced thor or heres a nasty fig most people havent caught on to yet - vet She-Hulk - she is an absolute brute and affordable for her damage and having avenger ability. cant beat 10 MOV with charge and an 11 attack w/ SS and invulnerability too. not to mention she has charge for 3 clicks i think, instead of one like S.Skrull has with running shot. My quarters worth

WOO-HOO! I have a fan! did ya see that? he said I was the best! ( thanks) But there are alot as good if not better on these boards than me.

As for the rest,

You must not have seen Spiral played correctly. I personally have taken out a V Thing and a V Hulk in the same match before with her. Just gotta be cautios till the right time.
