Lunge and CCE

I know that this has been gone over in great detail, and that my question is exasperating to most. I also apologize for not having the lunge feat and the Close Combat Expert definitions up, for I know that this irks many realmsers.

But, basically, what I want to know/ forgot is if CCE works with lunge. I.e. if I lunge with say The Flashes(BatB) or Doomsday(JLA), do they get the +2 to their damage value when attacking? Thanks a lot!!!!

You can Lunge before any close combat attack.
If you have given the character a power action to activate CCE, you will then be allowed to Lunge before making the attack.
This does not let you use CCE any time you make a close combat attack though - so The Flashes would not be able to use CCE when making a Hypersonic Speed attack. Just to be clear.
