Great cast, guys! I know I usually say that, but this one was one of the best clixcasts I can remember listening to in a long time, and I've listened to pretty much all of them. Having Ben on this one was definitely a treat, as well.

Also, so I don't spoil the announcement, congratulations on the big news! That's really awesome!

I thought this was a huge improvement over you past few episodes, very positive which was uplifting. I know Gudda is boycotting watchmen, but for those of us eagerly waiting for it, it was nice to hear him say the figs looked really cool.

Do you guys know if there is going to be a clix for the cure event in the milwuakee area? I'm a big fan of these type of events and would be interested in helping set it up or whatever.

Here is a link to the post for the figure that I was working on during the Clix Cast:

Destroyer (http://www.hcrealms.com/forum/showthread.php?p=4931471#post4931471)

There is also a video of the sculpt from start to finish a little further down in the post.

I live the show, but I have one qualm; Someone said the Watchmen issues are not Wizkids fault? I disagree. The entire gaming industry is set up so that we buy heaps of #### we don't want and will never use so we can get a few pieces we do want.

And the due diligence if the consumer? I've learned my lesson.

But someone else also said that Wizkids would win points for being honest with what we're getting in a set. I'm with you.

So wait...all four chases' models were done before Wizkids changed hands. That means that the four chases were always the original idea.

And guys?!! (incase you don't realize I'm commenting as I listen)...

What go you mean no Indy characters?!! I'd love to see Ben sculpt ANY Indy character!!!

I say make the whole list Indy characters.

HAHAHAHAHAHA...I agree, but with what Ben is doing is creating characters that can be switched out with a current sculpt and dial and still be the character.

Yeah, this was an interesting relevation. I think we were all under the impression they were done after NECA took over.

Loved the podcast. A lot of people here(New Jersey) only pop on the realms to see units or a set update, so I will pass this message along, and keep everyone updated on what is going on.

I am not nearly well-known enough to even recommend myself to run an event, plus I'd like to participate anyway, but the biggest HC in the East Coast is Pennsylvania-New Jersey-New York triangle. Most players I know come from the Philadelphia and Central Jersey area.

I hope this information helps in some way. I look forward to more Podcasts and updates on ClixforTheCure.

I just want to stick up for my AREA as contending with the BIGGEST HC in th east . The mega game events have turnouts that can compare with big events like GENCON and thats national championships. Also the DC area is home to some of the games best assests (like the rules guy, and a play tester or two). We have gotten guys from Ohio (shout out to the HOFF and Ted and the rest) to make the trip , I say you guys hop on I 95 and come on out to the CLIX FOR THE CURE (as i think arraingments are already in progress to have it in that area)

That's cool. I wasn't aware of that. I was offering information, but yours is much more suitable and well known. I am going to definitely going to do the best I can to attending, though it's quite a trek. This is one of those few things I'd hate to miss, and love to take part in.

Apologies, I didn't clarify on this. The chases from BATB were sculpted after NECA took over, all of my other sculpts in that set were done prior to the Topps/Wizkids shut down.

Sweet, I was about to ask where this was going to be going down.

DC is not that far from where I live plus I can probably find a place to stay up that way easy so I hope I can make it to this sounds really really fun.

I wish I had been into Heroclix when I still lived in the DC area.

Great episode! Nice to hear the Web of Spider-Man map design was in better hands than Blackest Night!

So, hang on. I thought this was the first 100% NECA set. Did someone say the Chases for this set were chases before Heroclix moved from Topps to NECA?

Chases referred to in this podcast were from Brave and the Bold which was pretty much created before Wizkids shut down. Chases were made for this set when Neca took over.

I don't know if that makes sense. Blackest Night wouldn't have even started when BatB was originally to be released, yeah? So there's no way they'd have chase figs of an event that hadn't even started yet.

Not always true. Sometimes Wizkids knows things from their Licensers to go along with releases. Secret Invasion was a lot like this. But the BN Chases were sculpted once Wizkids was under the NECA umbrella after most of the set was already completed under Topps.

Yeah, I'm not sure. I'm still skeptical on this. But I'm no businessman. Just glad they listened and didn't put chases in WoS. One down, a few to go :)

Allow me to belay your skepticism, as the person that sculpted the chases in BatB I can tell you that those were sculpted for NECA.

That's not what I'm skeptical about. But it's not really worth going into. Thanks anyway :)

NECA made the chases. Topps made everything else. Post production anyhow. The sculpts dials everything were done by or for Topps with the exception of the four chase figures.

Wow! Where to start...

First of all, congrats Steve! It's about time they got you on board. I can hardly wait to see the WOS map!

Any dates picked for "Clix for the Cure"? It's unlikely I can make it, but it only looks like an 8 hour drive, so it's not out of the question. If I can come, I'll bring along my Ned Leeds to through into the prize pool.

Ed McGuinness is Heroclix fan? Too cool!!!

Watched the Making of Destroyer video, very cool sir!

Agreed! Please tell me that he'll have the V-Batallion keyword - need more to fill out a team.
