Super-Man
Team: No Affiliation
Range: 4 :bolt:
Points: 130

When using Charge he may either - 1) use the rest of his remaining movement, if any, after making his attack, or 2) Use Charge again once as a free action per turn (he halves his movement value again and must attack a different target).
:star:-Well Known Weakness-When Super-Man is the target of outwit counter all his powers and modify his speed value by -4 and his Damage, Attack, and Defense Values by -2.

I gave him the trait to lower point cost and acount for the fact that Super-Man is often made helpless by kryptonite. The reason his range is a 4 and he dose not have the Super-Man team ability is also for decreased cost. I belive both can be in the realm of realisim as well because many a criminal have hid from Super-Man when he is distracted by a fight and the man of steel often seems to use his hands more than his heat vision. The reason I did this is because I have seen many 200+ Super-Man and I wanted to show that the man of steel could be lower costed.

I don't know if it is just me, but this Superman is pretty weak. His dial and numbers are fine, nothing special but fine, but I personally would cost him MUCH lower. Granted, I am a relatively new player and don't have a very fine grasp of the "fabled" point formula but what he brings to the table isn't worth 150 points to me. His Trait is crippling and adds too much weight to the already almighty Outwit, in my opinion. Just my two cents.

Running him through my trusty online point calculator, he comes in at 161 points. That trait is absolutely crippling though (a single shot of outwit from a 41 point chump is going to basically take him out of the fight), and so I think you can easily get away with squeezing more onto this dial. Approximately how much more? Here's what I'd give him...

Superman
Team: DC - Justice League
Range: 8 :bolt:
Points: 150
Keywords: Metropolis, Justice League, Trinity

Trait - Well-known Weakness: When Superman is the target of Outwit, instead counter all of his powers and modify his speed value by -4 and his defense, damage, and attack by -2 until the start of your opponent's next turn.
Speed - Faster than a Speeding Bullet: Superman can use Charge. When using Charge he may either - 1) use the rest of his remaining movement, if any, after making his attack, or 2) Use Charge again once as a free action per turn (he halves his movement value again and must attack a different target).

- so yeah, better damage and defense across the board, more reducers, better range, and a TA.

EDIT: If you want to keep your stats, you could probably cost him somewhere between 120 and 130 and have no problems in terms of game balance. Yeah, he's a bit of a beast for the points when your opponent has no outwit, but suddenly an already great power becomes an instant-kill versus the Man of Steel.

Thanks for the input. I don't want to change the stats but I will lower the point cost to 130. It would alow this Superman to be a good team player. Especialy if your team has some outwit to outwit the outwit =-p.Also thanks you for wording the speed power in such a great fassion I am going to place it on my Superman

I love it and would play this in a heartbeat. I have really been hating outwit lately though ;)

To many people use fortitude for me to enjoy my outwit. Huh fortitude. Now I realize how broken this piece may be=-(
