View Full Version : Scenarios Using Anti-Monitor as a scenario...

We've never managed to beat Galactus. I beat Spectre, but only once. Also beat Anti-Monitor. I've never played Starro
He doesn't even have a scenario.
I've been trying to get some use out of my Anti-Monitor and have been wondering how to properly use him in scenario play. I did a search in this forum, and this is the best info I have come up with.
I'm assuming AM was never "designed" for scenario play based on these quotes. However, if I was to use him as a scenario piece, what is the proper method of use.
To be more specific:
1. Does he only attack in retaliation? Moving up to b2b contact does not cause a counterattack? Nor does he attack after the opposing force(s) finish their turns?
2. Does he have multiattack in scenario?
3. Can his outwit be used with every counterattack?
A run through of an example round (or two) would be very helpful.
Thanks!

Two and a half hours and not a single idea as of yet?
How do the other colossal figures work as a scenario? I'm sure it can't be much different than that, right?
Any example or assistance would be awesome, thanks.

This is where u will find all the rules for them.
Your asking for rules that don't exists.
So make up your own.
Just remember if he normally does not have Multi-attack then you add it, he is no longer cost the same.

I'm just asking how a normal scenario plays out. I have never done one.
I already have the rules for AM, but its not much help. I'm just looking for somebody with scenario experience to walk me through how a typical game (just a few turn examples) would play out.
Mainly, I didn't understand how the entire first turn for the opposing force could be all move actions (getting into position) with no retaliation from AM. Does he (or any other) colossal get an action after the opposition completes their moves? Also, do any other colossal figures have outwit? I'm still unsure as to how outwit would work as a retaliatory power.
Yes, he does have multi-attack. I assume that remains even in scenario play.

I think I have a general idea after cross referencing the Spectre and Galactus rules (before posting I checked the Starro rules, but found them of little help...).
I'd assume the following would be fine:
AM attacks only after taking damage.
AM can use outwit with every attack (but only targeting defense powers!)
AM can use multi-attack, and can target ANY two figures in range per attack(including figures adjacent, must target who caused the damage on the first attack)
AM can use PW, PB and other range powers even when in b2b combat.
AM can use Quake twice per retaliatory attack (through multi-attack)
AM can target two people in a single close combat attack (also due to multi-attack)
All other restrictions/powers are as explained per rulebook, PAC or AM instructions.
Thanks.
