Hopefully yung Street Fighter Gravity Feed will be the same price :)
Glad I didn't buy a single gravity feed booster at Toycon! I was so happy to see the P120 price that I am very much considering of buying a whole gravity feed box (or maybe split it with a friend). Between that and the 1 case of Cap I'm getting, being poor never felt so joyous! :p
inoverprice kasi at that time, sa kanila lang available ang product. glad to know na mura lang ito sa NG. yung Thor Fast Forces, sabay din ba na lalabas????
oh, and are we talking about the GL Grav Feed here, or pati yung kay Cap meron din???

Ganda ng Flash. If only because of Flashpoint, I'd want one. Same goes for Imperiex. Another interesting thing is that they'e not using the cup bases or the old H-bases. It's the oreo base! Glad to see that it was finalized!

Actually, if you look at all the completed auctions in Ebay.... Weapon X is holding steady at $60-70, The Captain at $60, Capwolf jumped to $55-65, Cap Ice is around $50ish. Rojhaz fell to $35-40. Not horrible values for a one per case chase.... They are not as rare as the Crisis, HoT, AA or BatB chases so not too bad. I predict the prices will go up once the supply decreases.

yup, doc pero yung mga past sets laging may 90+ dollar chase. Mejo mababa yung price nila compared sa first two weeks prices ng ibang chases (rojhaz is actually 25 - 35 lang). Yung mga SRs naman wala man lang umaabot ng 30 dollars.

pero nakalimutan mo gerald, dc 75th ang pinakamahal dahil 1 in 10 chances na makuha mo ung gusto mo...at cympre cya ang set na pinakamahirap at madugo buohin....10 yan eh, sa cap set 5 in which case 2 doon basura, sa gsx 4 lang basura pa 3, sa batb 4 sila pero ang hirap mascore si superman, sa HOT 2 lang sila at 1 per case un dati at si thorbuster lang ang habol ng lahat, sa SI hinde naman ganun kaganda ung 2 chase at finally sa crisis un ang da bomb na chase 2 lang sila at 1 per 50 cases not to mention napaka playable at collectible.

Si Knight yung malas na taong hindi nakakuha ng chase sa brick...pero dont worry, nakabawi naman yan sa sealed tourney by taking 3 srs in 3 boosters which includes Weapon X - tae ka Knight :p

Yes. it's confirmed. I remember reading an article re Modern Age sets. Only DC and Marvel sets are considered tourney legal. Hanapin ko yung exact article, but unless it's changed. Street Fighter is not legal for tournaments.

nakakadisappoint naman kung ganun..unless they're going to have sanctioned tourneys for SF Clix alone, i don't think this product will prosper like the more recent sets of clix.

Any set symbols not included on this list are considered to be Golden Age: Batman: Alpha, Secret Invasion, Arkham Asylum, Hammer of Thor, HeroClix Classics (all), The Brave and the Bold, Blackest Night, Watchmen, Web of Spider-Man, Brightest Day, Jonah Hex, DC 75th Anniversary, Giant-Size X-Men, and any Marvel or DC sets released after the publication of this document."
Re: Glorietta. I think may games pa sila doon. I think Glorietta is the only place now with space for playing. Saturdays doon na rin ata.
SF gravity feed sets and other similar items are not technically being sold as game pieces rather they are geared towards collectors and novelty lovers.They manufacture them with that mindset, so we the gamer customer is actually buying collector stuff not gaming stuff. Also this is to keep in line the balance and all that stuff. Free plays and golden age formats are good but the official sanctioned formats (modern age) require the main sets.

Engot din talaga wizkids, dapat kung gusto nila bumenta yung SF sana ginawa nilang tourney legal. Pero alam ko depende pa rin yan sa JUDGE na kagaya ni conrad. Strict lang sila sa worlds at mga big events.

But since the gravity feed and fast forces sets are Marvel and DC, that means they are legal in Modern Age right?

the thor set is already available sa CO kaso di ko lang alam kung ubos na...baka 2 rats might have also kasi they were the first with the green lantern gravity feeds. As for the cap gravity feeds, not sure kung saan meron pa at the moment but i want more of the generics ang lakas kasi... streetfighter wala pa talaga August 10 ang official release ng hindi starter, so again for those na nagmamadali baka 2rats might have...
the thor set is already available sa CO kaso di ko lang alam kung ubos na...baka 2 rats might have also kasi they were the first with the green lantern gravity feeds. Yup, i think the 4 reign of the supermen characters will be easy to get...
I said what i said because captain america had the other versions of cap as chases so there.. just an observation. I am still hoping for alternate versions of supes to pop up here in this set (red son, godfall, black lantern, batman costume, justice lords... anyone?)
and I am not expecting any lantern characters aside from cyborg superman or sodam though... (sad, for lantern fans)

Yup, the Cap movie is worth watching...hindi siya ma action like Thor or as fancy as Iron Man...mejo mag iisip ka rin coz the movie has a lot of heart. 140million USD ang prodution costs so saan ka pa??

Just to put an end to this talk na lang, coming from retail myself, the problem here is three-fold, First, ads are expensive, period. So for a hobby such as ours, which is not a big community as compared to other gaming products, its not feasible to put ads, and the competition is small anyway and with access to internet, it would not make any sense to do ads as it would just ad to expense.
Second, although NG retains an exclusivity clause for wizkids product, 2rats for example has been a distributor of NECA for the longest time, so that was why nauna sila sa gravity feed ng GL, this was offered by NECA to normal retailers (like Target) first and not hobby shops, so nakakalusot talaga yon.
Third, their exclusivity is as distributor, not seller so in order for them to legally sue someone they have to go against an international distributor and that means paying for international lawyers and that is not monetarily feasible kasi again we are not as big as a community as magic, and instead of profitting their money would just go to legal fees.
Again, in the end, free market pa din kasi, you can wait for NG which is cheaper (like GL gravity feed) pero sometimes to be fair, they are early naman as well so sometimes circumstances lang talaga, or if you are rushing to have the stuff or looking for older sets then you go to other suppliers or even the internet. Monopoly naman is not a good thing because as a customer, in the end everybody wins if you have choices...
The only reason I posted what I posted is so that people will know na meron din namang iba. To be fair, I didn't even buy any of the gravity feeds before because mahal nga talaga, so in that respect buyer beware na lang. Although nobody will stop anyone from buying off the internet anyway so there is that as well, hopefully we can now go back to the regularly scheduled program and just talk about what matters, which is clix...
So hopefully this ends this talk right here and we can now go back to our regularly scheduled program...

Besides, the last few sets (Arkham, BATB, DC 75th) were all balanced sets where even the big dogs were mostly good, but not great.
SF, I'll hold off on judging, as I haven't seen the TA in action. I'm thinking it eats up a lot of points to have permanent move and attack (despite the short burst of 3 spaces). But I'll certainly be using those 1vs1 rules in some games. Round 1... FIGHT! :cool:

The "block" non-mechanic (plus 1 to defense? that's a block?) feels too lacking, no throws, no combos, super moves, counters. Flavor-wise, it doesn't feel anything like Street Fighter.
And yet I still want to get the figures, ganda ng sculpts eh. Kahit pang display lang. Or pang mabilisan na laro kahit saan. That's what I hated about Heroclix that I loved about VS - kung maglalaro ka, kelangan mo ng malaking table, hindi kagaya nung VS System mag order ka lang ng fries sa McDo pwede na kayong maglaro ng 1 or 2 games. But now, 1 on 1 rules, smaller maps, it's easy to get a quick Clix fix!

The only thing that I'm not liking with the new sets are these weird range values. Seriously you'll give Magog, the herald of Gog 5 range? What good will psyblast do with 8 range? It's just like the character from the Cap set that's supposed to be an excellent range combatant. They gave her 3 range. I mean seriously, 3 range?!?
I'm liking the figures of the set so far. I'm still hoping for a Nightwing (Lor Zod) and Flamebird (Thara Ak-var) for the set. It's a Kryptonian full set so here's hoping!

Quite frankly, yes. WL Sinestro, for the points doesn't quite work as a one man army. Only the LIVE power makes him last but by himself, the soft middle clicks are easy to aim for. I've had more trouble with the SR Sinestro.
Blazam's Shazam half of the dial is good but not really meets all the hype (I killed it with two teenagers without any HSS) :devious: As for BA, you never see him get to use his HSS+exploit/CCE because of how easy it is to blow past those clicks.
So yeah, all the "powerhouses" from previous DC sets after Crisis just fell short of the mark. Metron, I don't count as he's more of a swiss army knife than a one-man army.
But looking at the previews? Even second string like Non and Magog look beastly for the points.

Other than the range value, Magog's pretty powerful considering he's only an uncommon. Non and Ursa are just wrong. If any DC set deserves powerhouses I have to agree it's the Supes set.;)

black market is still black market, we buy our stuff kung saan nating gusto, you want to shell out mucho cash for black market stuff good for some madami silang pera, some people don't. My point is I am never buying from black market sellers for the main reason that products maybe tampered (sure ako sa 2rats tampered booster ang nandoon and I have eveidence of those) ika nga I would rather wait sa official distributor rather than take my chances elsewhere then get burned in the process. maybe you have no idea of NG's exclusivity but we do since we are long time customers and the owners convey to us the vital information regarding clix releases and products. There is also the facebook page wherein you can direct all your questions. You are correct Mikey, sayang yung Fast Forces SF stuff. The figs had so much potential. The Gravity Feed is much better though. I want a few myself.
Now I know si Cons will allow players to use SF with our regular clix. Marvel VS Capcom is a reality now.:grin: So may Storm, Cable, Iceman, Cyclops, Magneto, Psylocke so many to mix and match! Now if they'll only decide to pursue other Capcom properties...pwedeng Resident Evil Clix, Megaman Clix (Hell yeah!!!)

I will buy the SF clix just for the nice sculpts...... And play them for kicks ..... Any idea when we will get them?
well masaya naman sila isama sa modern age pero I understand WK decision not to allow it, it is a business decision since malamang ung license nila is just for a limited release so hinde cya ideal na isama sa regular official format nila. In hindsight maganda mga sculpts at kakatuwa mga dials.

well there is a question of balance due to most of the SF clix have only the martial artists keyword. still I have no complaints it would be a blast to see ken and ryu beat the crap out of wolverine and sabertooth :p

@Anton: Considering how AWESOME the GL FF was and how mediocre the Thor FF was, I was hoping Street Fighter would be somewhere in between. Sayang.
Fei Long champion ng Street Fighter 4 sa EVO! Siyempre Hapon me gamit pero Amerika well represented sa SF tatlo sa kanila ngtop 8. Yung isang Kano (Arabo yun tapos yung dalawa egoy walang puti) natalo nya yung tatlo sa apat na hapon na ngtop 8 din. Unfortunately masyadong tanke lang si Fei Long para ke C. Viper. Astig yung top 8 puro low Vitality hard hitting characters (Isang Seth, tatlong C.Viper, dalawang Yun tska Akuma) tapos yung dalawa tanke sila Fei Long and Zangief. Sayang Monday jan yung livefeed nh? Hanapin nyo sa youtube mamya mga match kalokohan mga combo mapapamura ka talaga:p!
