If you have several figures KO'd from a single action, such as EE,
would you immediately be given the same amount of free attacks?

THIS PLACE IS GONNA EXPLODE!: Immediately after a character friendly to Big Figure is defeated, Big Figure or a character friendly to Big Figure can make a close combat attack or a ranged combat attack as a fre action.

I see no reason this would not be true.

Based on the wording above being correct (I am assuming that it is correct and not 'what you are pretty sure it is') I would say it activates when the condition is met. In other words, pick one of the characters and get your free attack. As soon as that character makes their attack, the immediately has been satisfied and you are now on to a new action

If it was worded 'for each character', that would be different

I dont see any reason it would be any different then triggering the Suicide Squad or FF TA triggers multiple times from an EE Attack.

I see no reason this would not be true.

But then why did everyone (including rules Deputies) already tell me you only get one attack regardless of how many guys get Ko'd with one attack?

Probably because Big Figure is just a sick, insane, ultra-powerful piece, and they (possibly even me) wanted to put a little reasonability onto him.

I figured out a nasty team with him that should easily take out Dr. Manhattan.

Black Bolt - 166 (4 damage + Perplex + 10 attack)
The Atom - 65
Big Figure - 49
1520 x Lian Harper (I love print and play!!!)

"Dr. Manhattan attacks only when he takes damage. Immediately after a power, ranged combat, or close combat action is resolved from which Dr. Manhattan takes damage, Dr. Manhattan takes an action."

"Immediately after a figure friendly to Big Figure is defeated, Big Figure or a character friendly to Big Figure can make a close combat attack or a ranged combat attack as a free action."

Dr. M only retaliates when a power, ranged combat, or close combat action is resolved. I can make free action attacks all day long and never worry about retribution.

So, I get 18 actions per turn. Push 9 Lians to KO for 9 attacks (11atk & 4dmg or 10atk & 5dmg) with no chance of reprisal. Then move 9 more to be ready to push them next turn. The Atom is there in case I crit miss.

I would probably go with 380 Jarvises instead of 1520 Lian Harpers - with the Avengers TA they can push themselves to death on turn 2. :)

well and if you carry along a telephone booth you can get in all 18 attacks in one turn.

Surtur + Big Figure. Reinstated.

Surtur 153
Big Figure 49
Nekron 146
3x Fire Demon 33
Rock Troll 45

492. 8 left for Protected or Camouflage or a pog. Can also swap out Rocky for another Demon for a few extra points.

The trick is to get Nekron and Surtur each on their Fifth click. Use Expendable Resources to attack 85 times killing the crap out of people. Nekron in turn makes those poor slaughtered clicks into zombies which proceed to eat their former teammates brains before returning to dust

This probably does need to be revisited since nbperp was the one who made the ruling (http://www.hcrealms.com/forum/showthread.php?t=279709).

This team is awesome but what map do you play on?

:devious:

I threw this 300 point team together the day Big Figure was previewed. 300 points to take down a colossal.

186 UL096 Thor
49 WM019 Big Figure
28 CT007 Mandroid Armor
4 ICB001 Jarvis
4 ICB001 Jarvis
4 ICB001 Jarvis
4 ICB001 Jarvis
4 ICB001 Jarvis
4 ICB001 Jarvis
4 ICB001 Jarvis
4 ICB001 Jarvis
5 ICB003 Mary Jane Watson-Parker
300

On turn 2 Ult Thor gets 10 attacks with a 12/13 :a-fist: and a 5/6 ::g-starburst: where can he reach the entire board, terrain not-with-standing.

Would this work? Because you have to:

A: Kill a lian Harper

B: Free action with Black bolt

C: DR. Manhatten attacks.

Because The power says some immediately after a friendly character is KOD you make the attack, You can only do one at a time, which meann Manhattan will retaliate after every attack kill Black Bolt. or did i read the SP wrong?

I attack, Manhattan retaliates, i support, i push lian to death, i attack for free, Manhattan retaliates, i push lian to death, i attack for free, Manhattan retaliates, i die....... wouldn't that be how it goes?

Yes it will work. Manhattan retaliates after a CLOSE, POWER or RANGED combat action and Big Figure's SP grants a Ranged or Close combat attack as a FREE action.

But that free action just grants a Ranged or Close combat attack

But that free action just grants a Ranged or Close combat attack

And Doctor Manhattan retaliates after a power action, ranged combat action or close combat action. Actions are not attacks.

This issue has been resolved and nbperp took back his earlier ruling. Click here (http://www.hcrealms.com/forum/showpost.php?p=5006505) for the post. Harpua's answer stands.
