My X-Men Mods

So these are a few X-Men mods I did. Magneto and Colossus are in their 80's outfits (specifically when Magneto was leading the team).

The Nightcrawler is a mod I just finished today that I plan to put on the WoS Nightcrawler's dial. I'm not a huge fan of the costume or sculpt that they used for him in WoS. I tried to make an album, but for some reason couldn't so I just linked to Facebook.

I really like the nightcrawler, did you make stats for them as well??

I really dig the Colossus and Magneto costumes. The only critique I would really have is that Magneto seems a little too glossy - other than that great work and fantastic costume choices!

Nah, Magneto is on the Experienced Magneto dial from Infinity Challege (the only version of him that has the X-Men team ability). He's not that great by today's standards, but with 'Contingency Plan' he's an ok support piece for an X-Men team.

Colossus I just put on the Mutations and Monsters common Colossus.

I suspect we'll being seeing a lot of mod finding their homes on that base...

Nice, I like your Magneto as well. I contemplated doing those little squares on the gloves and boots but was afraid I would just mess it up. I also decided to put the giant 'M' on the back of the cape, which I've only ever seen in one issue (Uncanny X-Men #212 or #214 I think where he is fighting a sentinel with Wolverine and Rogue).:cool:

I noticed that glossy look too. Strangely enough it doesn't look like that at all in person, just in the photo.:cool:

Yeah - sometimes it's a flash thing. If you ever wanted to reshoot him, just take him outdoors on a sunny day and skip the flash. That should fix it in the photos (if that's something that bugs you).

I absolutely love the Colossus mod. Costume that screams "80s!", great mod, great paint job.

what? but its the perfect representation of <character X>. exactly as he should be. Heck hes a closer match than nightcrawler is.
