magneto needs a power like this!

Score: 45%. Pros: A board control power that deals automatic damage and decent ranged defenses. Cons: Everything else. Short life, high cost, tiny range on his special power, useless Leadership power, terrible keywords.
I love TK and Leadership on the same click, especially top click. And Vector doesn't become useless later on, because he picks up Perplex to support the team.
i like how hes a flier too

I gotta say... I think this guy is really cool. I mean, his special is really just a hard-to-pull-off bonus to TK, but think about it... It's like a range 3 automatic 1 click... helps get rid of all those super-sensers. Plus, I think he's the most pushable TK support piece in the game right now, since he always has TK, and he get's Perplex later. What can I say, I'm a sucker for TK.

I dismissed this figure at first but on second thought I think he's a pretty good support piece. A TK piece that can continually push with TK plus gives you perplex and starts out with leadership and is a flyer for 68 points. This is pretty good.

Doesn't have a high enough damage to be accurate. The guy nearly took apart the Hulk with his TK.

Only 2 base damage? C'mon! At least give him RCE on top of that! Way, way underpowered on damage. Not bad powers on the dial, though.

Yeah, he could have been a bit better. For starters, a Thinker-esque translucent sculpt. That special power can be dirty if your opponent isn't paying attention. Biggest problem with him and his U-friends is the short dial.
Cheap TK is always good and with the option to deal damage automatically to those super hard to hit guys, it's even better. Plus he can be hard to hit from distance, especially if he's in hindering. FB gives him another option to keep enemies away.

He's my new favorite TKer. He's 28 points more than Gee or Marvel Girl but he keeps TK his entire dial. This encourages him to be pushed and you recieve twice the use out of TK as those other characters. ES/D is very synergetic with how you'll play this character and isn't wasted, especially considering its nearly impossible to base him. Then you add in his support powers; they increase his versatility and he becomes one character that fills two rolls.
Be wary, don't get him in the thick of things, he's a battle co-ordinator and facilitator. If you ever make an attack with him, or he is attacked in the first half of your match, you aren't playing him correctly.
Sculpt is kinda bland, and I know virtually nothing of the character in the comics.

Vector is a great support figure. He can taxi, TK, provide leadership, and eventually Perplex - all for a moderate 68 points. His SP would be borken if not for the limitation to range (odd he is in the set that gave us the wunderkinds Nightcrawler and Cosmic Spidey since they have no such limits - :tired: ). Still, in a game where too many figures can avoid be targeted or damaged through multiple d6 rolls, Vector cuts through all that. A fairly simple piece to use by even beginning players, only his shallow dial will prevent him from being used all the time.

Basicly my new Fav Tk'er. in yesterdays 3 round tourney this guy was running the show. alright he as a short dial, but he should never get hit, i use him to taxi on his first move, set him up on elevated (if your lucky enough to choose map) with a good shooter (bullseye works) and use vector to "slingshot" my bricks and my attackers on the on rushing enemies. in one round on the web of spidey map i was able to tk doppelganger around the enemy beatsticks, set up morlun and take out all of the support and range attackers with some lucky rolls in one turn.. all because of vector.. btw, if you do play vector.. push all teh time, the tk is through-out the whole dial and after the second push you get perplex.. and don't worry about the attack drop, you never use it anyways

I'll agree with most of the others that this dial, for what it is, is very good and fairly cost-efficient. But, he SHOULD have been twice that point value or more, had a range of 8 or 10, and should NOT be a support piece. He should be able to deal 4 damage easily.

I must be missing something, because I'm not seeing where the blanket range limitation of 3 is coming from.
KINETIC CONTROL: Vector can use Telekinesis. Opposing characters within 3 squares may be moved with Telekinesis as if they were friendly characters. Opposing characters that are moved in this way may be dealt 1 damage after the action resolves.
Question 1) Vector can use Telekinesis. (ie. can use it normally, up to 8 squares, right?)
Question 2) Opposing characters within 3 squares may be moved with Telekinesis as if they were friendly characters. (Opposing characters within 3, are considered friendly, and thus can be moved 8 squares without an attack roll required. What am I missing?)

This guy is going to find a whole lot of use on the Hawkworld map> TK opposing Boot symbol characters right into the pit.

His TK range is still 8. The only prereq is that they be with-in 3 when he moves them as a friendly (so no atk roll).

I've started using this guy a lot more since the new leadership rules came out. He's a very good TK character who punishes opposing figures who get too close to your back line. Very solid piece. Very pushable.
I turned an extra i had of this guy into an early representation of Dr. Manhattan. It already looks like him so i painted him blue. I think the stats are great for vector and they work well for showing the doc first starting out.

Great choice for cheap TK. Can double as a taxi for your Nurse too ;)

Vector (68) + U Graviton (178) + Ghost Widow (54) + the Low Gravity BFC = 300 points of awesomeness on the Hawkworld map.
They made all the U-Foes, which I am thankful for. Sure, they are B grade villains, and their clix incarnations reflect that. I thought that this guy would be more though. I remember in one Hulk comic in the early 90's, Vector used his power to (literally) flay all the skin off of the Hulks body. Since I am pretty sure we won't see another clix incarnation of Vector (or any of the U-Foes), for a long time (if ever), I'd hoped for a little more. That being said, I still like what this figure brings to the table. TK, and that special power TK, along with Leadership moving into Perplex. Good for a Scientist team too. He's not great, but not horrible either, and I'll be playing him the next time I have a 300 point game coming up.
Love this piece. The leadership and TK are awesome in low point games. The automatic TK of opposing characters is so useful. Really good board control piece and easy to fit on a team for the points.
