Score: 65%. I'm not sure what I would do with this dial. But I won't rate Rocket Racer as useless because there's probably some good tactics out there involving his Trait and Team Ability.

Should have Scientist Keyword.

Other than that is sums him up...

Really? I'll pay 65 points for a wild card, HSS, 18 D up close any day.

I'd rather play Dawnstar for the same amount of points.

dawnstar doesnt have range or 18 def in bat stealth, so i think his better

So i just played this guy for the first time, the rest of my outlaws team got mopped up so i slowly but surely whittled down both normal and black suit spideys and doppleganger, chasing around blackcat was a challenging but once i got clear shots it worked so he's actually an excellent little hype piece

Dial aside, the best thing about this sculpt is that you can turn him on his side and make him skateboard over to his target, grinding on things until he hypersonics away!

i got this guy in a sealed and used him and he was always the first one to die on my team, just too easy to hit and a target due to his HSS... however, i'm sure i can build a team around him to make use of his team ability... maybe a batman ally to give him some stealth since his defense is pretty low from range attacks, or mystics so people think twice about attacking him

There's more interesting figures in this set, but this guy's not too bad. I like that he gets PB at the end of the dial. It sure shocked Victor Mancha when his invulnerability didn't help him.

I agree, I'd rather play Dawnstar as well. Willpower and her quarry ability makes her a much better clix than Rocket Racer to me. AND Dawnstar can carry.

Rocket Racer is an Outlaw, and outlaws rule

Has anyone noticed he's wearing a purse? er, I mean a European shoulder bag( it was a gift:noid: ) Good piece fun to play, only complaint is I usually prefer ES/D on my speedsters, but it's easily remedied with spidey TA

But dawnstar cant use maneuver like rocket racer ;-)

rocket attack a hidden character and put the character away from hiddering terrain, than BOOM headshoot xD

Rocket Racer definitely has the advantage over Dawnstar, as his movement trait can't be countered; Dawnstar's Flight ability can. His range (of 6) is an added bonus, especially on the Running Shot clicks, where he ignores outdoor terrain and can make an attack at full range using Psychic Blast. Great on his own, but even better when being taxied by Nightcrawler.

Willpower + Dawnstar's Quarry give her the win.

why not just play both..?

BRILLIANT! (also, my first thought after dawnstar's namedrop)
Which also bumps that almost straight 9 AV to 4 straight 10's against your biggest non-invulnerable, or easily outwittable threat. in 300 points or higher, thats a really sizable, but effectively affordable chunk of points. 200, not so much worth it, but depending on your other 80 points, really really good backup.

This right here is a fun figure to play. I played him for the first time today, on an Outlaws team. He was great. Very consistent stats, make him very pushable. The sculpt is great, and that Trait is very handy. He was zipping around HSSing guys left and right. I don't think he missed an attack the whole game, even against the 18 Defenses he was going after. Solid figure, especially for the points.
