This guy's got what I loved most about Bruce Wayne from the BatB set: Combat Reflexes on a dirt-cheap piece. Push him once, and he goes from doing 1 damage to a potential of 4. Almost dead? Switch out for the Scarlet Spider AE and hop back up to that 19 def you've been using. This piece is amazing, even if the sculpt is bland.

Score: 95%. One of the top ten pieces from this set. For only 38 points, Ben can move up 8 spaces, hide behind a wall and next turn move 8 more to base an opponent and really really ruin their day with his 19D and 4 damage. The wildcard TA is diamond icing on a gold cake (hellooo, Ghost Widow). I guess the Alter Ego power (transforming into another top 10 piece) is a ruby cherry on the icing??

I have mad respect for this piece. In a 400 point sealed, he beat Deadpool and Daken all by himself. Didn't help that when I used cce on deadpool the 2nd time, he rolled a 1, and took 5 instead of 4.

The AE part is better than Parker and he's less pts. Going to be tough to hit from up close.

this is easily my fav piece from this set. i play him in any game possible. he is the cheapest on my team and the hardest to take out. i rarely even get to use his alt ego, which just makes this piece #####in. he is simple to use. base someone you hate, start hitting. even if you miss your swings, he is an awesome tie up since he is nearly impossible to hit.

This is one of my favorite tie-up pieces. He is able to crank out some large damage for his points, and is difficult to hit in close combat. One of my favorite Alter Ego pieces as well.

I got between 2 Mindless Ones preventing them from shooting out. Got through IMP w/ CCE. Extremely playable. In previous game picked up the Crimson Gem w/ him.

[Spider-Bat]

Ben makes a great "bodyguard" for GSX Prof Xavier. Xavier can Push and then Ben can wildcard X-Men to heal Xavier, just making Ben don the Scarlet Spidey gear faster. Or, have Ben base someone, then have Xavier Psychic Blast them through Ben's square. Either way, a fun figure.

Fantastic for the points. A cheap, tough to hit WC scientist, who can break all damage reducers on 3 clicks and then can alter into the great Scarlet Spider, all for 38 points. Just a great piece from this set.
