Character Creation: Black Canary

Here's my take on Dinah Lance, in my opinion the best feamle DC character behind Wonder Woman. Give me your thoughts, please! :)

Attack: 8 7 7 6 5
Defense: 15 14 13 12 11
Damage: 2 2 1 1 1

Experienced JSA Range: 6 Arrows: 1
Speed: 7 6 5 5 4 4
Attack: 9 8 7 6 5 5
Defense: 16 15 14 13 12 11
Damage: 1 2 2 1 1 1

Veteran Batman Ally Range: 6 Arrows: 1
Speed: 8 7 7 6 5 4
Attack: 9 8 8 7 6 5
Defense: 16 15 14 14 13 12
Damage: 1 2 2 1 1 1

Pulse Wave This power seems perfect to represent Dinah's sonic Canary Cry, as it does damage to every character in (hearing) range.
Stealth Canary is a master of espionage, and thus can use her surroundings to protect her.
Leap/Climb Dinah is known to leap around rooftops from Seattle to Gotham, so this power is fitting.
Close Combat Expert Although Dinah can atack enemies both near and far, she is an expert martial artist, and has much better control over her body than her Canary Cry.

Hate to tell you this, but exp Canary should have NO cry. She lost it for years, due to her throat being cut.

however, I like the idea of Pulse Wave!! Perfect representation.
And she should certainly have CCE... she's second to Shiva in the fighting dept.

I agree with the above.

To balance it, I would up the close combat colours and stats for the Exp version, to show she relied on these more when she couldn't use her Sonic scream ability.

Overall, I like her. Well done.

It's nice to see a character designed with simple powers that represent the character. I would definately lose the pulse wave where she lost her cry and extend the CCE for a few clicks on the same version.

But there was a time at the end of her run with the JSA when she had her Canary Cry back. Check out JSA # 31. Plus, when she didn't have her Cry, she still had little sonic devices to replicate her power that she could throw.
