Not a fan of the X-Men, are ye?
I hope that WK includes a Cable/Soldier X clix sometime soon. He is a popular character.
Not bad...BTW, what type of paint are you using? By it's glossy appearance, it looks like Testors...which would be bad.
Keep on trucking...

If I may, I recommend switching to acrylic paints for painting these "plasticy" miniatures. I'm sure you've noticed that Testors does not dry, and it remains very tacky to the touch. (plus every bit of lint and dust sticks to the paint...ugh)

i used acrilics and testors on these guys mostly acrilic theres also a light shinin down on em
I believe the correct terminology would be "So-and-So as an X-Man", not "X-Men". You could even go for the whole politically correct thing and say "X-Person".
Your painting looks nice although a bit on the shiny side ... not that shiny is bad ... just looks like they're still wet or something.
This looks like a good start into the world of mods though. Keep at it.
If you really want to make an X-Man that we all want to see go for a Havoc ... that would be cool.

It's amazing how many people don't realize that shining a light on something produces glare, and usually washes out colour if it's too close. Heck, it even happens with people, and I only know a couple guys that are shiny all over :) But to fix it, I'd advise taping a peice of white paper (preferable textured, like art paper) to your light source to diffuse the light.
As far as the other comments, I'm forced to agree with everyone else. These all look like just recolourations. Which isn't bad at all .... but if you're going to do a repaint, it should be better than the original, right? Sabertooth for instance looks the exact same. I'd strip the figures before you repainted them, and try to get some more layering in. It might be a pain in the butt to learn drybrushing or glazing, but they come in handy a lot.
if youve got i picture of Havoc e-mail me at
[email protected]
then i'll see what i can do and all i need is a regular picture of him (not as a hero click):D
laterz
if you have pictures of any X-Men you wanna see just e-mail em to me and i'll se what i can do with it

I'm not an X-men fan in the slightest, but I have to say your repaints are great!!!!!. I personally like the skrull. It has inspired me with an idea that it seems you already thaught of....paint as many charachters with the same uniform as possible...Imagine, Mojo, lol, go buy a spare Sinestro, or something REALLY silly like Doomsday or Mr. Fantatastic.
Great job and keep em comming.:)
