If a person makes a successful break away roll are they able to use charge or running shot or can they only use a movement. We just want to make sure that we are using break away the right way :)

A succesful breakaway roll allow your character to move, no matter why. It can use Charge and Running Shot just fine.

You can use running shot or charge, but I think you have to declare that first. You give the character a power action to use charge or running shot, then roll to breakaway, then move if successful, then make your combat action.

This is correct.
I see this mistake mentioned frequently.
Breakaway is rolled immediately before movement begins.
Movement cannot begin until the action causing the movement has already been declared.

Thanks guys. We have been playing this one wrong. We have played that once you make a break away you can't do running shot or charge and you can only do the break away movement.
