Heres the situation. My V Ultron is 2 squares from the edge of the board. My opponent outwits Ultron's toughness and attacks with his V Weather Wizard. He rolls double 6's. Ultron is knocked back 4 squares. Does he go off the board and out of the game, slam into an invisible wall and take an extra click, or just stop being knocked back at the edge of the board?

HE slams into an invisible wall and takes a click of damage

Whenever that happens when I play at home, we pretend there's a wall there and the fig takes an extra click of damage.

Actually, iirc, he takes an extra 2 clicks of damage. Getting "blown off the map" is treated as getting knocked off a building.

Let me double-check though to make sure.

Oh, and you are still on the map...you just take extra damage.

Edit: OK...I sit corrected. It is just one extra click of damage.

Treat all map edges as indestructible walls. Figures who suffer knockback that would take them "off" the map, hit this wall and suffer 1 point of damage. This damage can only be applied from an attack that causes Knockback damage, and pushes the affected figure into the map edge.
