View Full Version : How to take out Moondragon?

I have a 200 pt. Marvel only tournament coming up and I know that one of guys who is going to be in it will take her. he usually takes her in conjuncion with Spiral. Moondragon's combination of Mind Control, TK, Supersenses makes her a pain to take out. Any sugestions?

I am considering taking a Shield team with Fury and Logan but I am open to suggestions.

just outwit her supersenses and land a big attack... it's not too hard to do that. Moondragon's powers shift too quickly and knocking her off her first two clicks should take care of her teke and mc. No problem at all. Just try to stay away from Spiral.... if you want some more fun, use PC characters to try to get Spiral to roll bad with her double BCF.

Ok, here you go

27 pts. rookie Black panther
43 pts. Veteran Bullseye
27 pts. rookie Doombot
27 pts. rookie Doombot
16 pts. Experienced AIM medic
60 pts. Veteran Logan

200 pts. Total!
Ok, you have Doombot1 (free move w/ Avengers TA) bring Panther up to outwit a)Supersenses on Moony, b)TK on Moony, or c) BCF on Spiral(she will only do 1 pt of damage with each hit). Next, you use Doombot2 (free move w/ Avengers TA) to bring Bullseye up to shoot at Moondragon( He will need to roll a 4 or a 3 (depends on how you have the doombots positioned, using MoD team to emulate hydra's +1 attack to ranged) if you successfully hit Moony, she will be out of her tk and MC. Move Logan up to a doombot so he can push next round into his "sweet spot" of Flurry/10 AV/3 dmg and be ready to be taxied into battle. you can do all this in one turn due to the high mobility and free move actions. maybe pause for a round (excluding the push on Logan, then you wreak havoc on your opponent again for a round with Bullseye making sure to outwit something useful (like Spiral's BCF's...I can't stress this enough) and then round 4 bring in Logan to Mop up your opponent.
Just remember the amount of free movement you have, this allows you to make 2 attacks. Also the Anti-spidy team lets you have your doombots have an 11 attack while next to bullseye or a 12 if the other one is using the Hydra TA.
Another Variation to this team is to exchange Vet Logan(60 pts)to Exp. Logan(49 pts) and fit in a rookie SHIELD Agent(10pts), this way the Doombots can token up for extra damage on Ranged combat attacks for Bullseye.

Man.... I need to try this team out, heh
