Wizkids At MegCon

Does anyone know how Wizkids runs the tourneyas at conv. this weekend is the Mega Con in Orlando and they are holding tourneys ..now the seald box and booster drafts i know how they work, but how about the 200 pt teams, do you have to bring your on clixs for those?

Yes, you generally bring your own clix. However, if you do not have any you can buy some at the booth.

I and 2 of my frineds will be driving down this afternoon. A good 6 hour drive. Woohoo! Atleast we won't miss much. All the really good stuff is on Saturday.

Please let me know how good the Heroclix stuff was at the MegCon i.e., cheap and/or new uniques, les etc. I'm considering taking a group to the Wizard World Con this summer and want to know if it'll be worth the trip. thanks.

stevenbdavis, last year at WWEast, WizKids was one of the most popular companies. They had the largest gaming section on the floor, and it was always packed.
They were running HC tournaments pretty much non-stop all 3 days from when the doors opened till the end of the day.
At thier booth you could buy 2 boosters for 12 or a starter for 16.
You could also get an LE 3 with the purchase of $50 worth (still at $6/booster) or an LE 4 wpo $100.
Mostly they had all 200 pt sealed games because HC had only come out about a week prior.
They ran more constructed games at other cons later last summer.
I strongly recomend making the trip to WWEast. It should be even better than last year, and WK might even show some advanced product. Plus they give away LE's like candy to winners at the cons.
