Ran across another question me and my buddies have had.

Ok say you have ranged character like bullseye. Your opp moves hulk right up in his face for close combat. Can bullseye still use ranged combat or is he forced down to haveing to use close combat.

When in base 2 base characters cannot use ranged combat unless 1 of them is soaring.

Silent envy is pretty much correct...

Normally...

Grounded figures cannot make Ranged Combat Actions against adjacent opposing figures (hovering or grounded)

Hovering figures can always make Ranged Combat Actions against adjacent opposing figure (hovering or grounded).

Grounded figures can only make a Ranged Combat Action against an adjacent opposing Hovering figure, AS LONG AS no other opposing Grounded figure is also adjacent.

Soaring figures can always make a Ranged Combat Action against adjacent opposing Soaring figures, but cannot attack anyone who isn't also Soaring.

This make sense?

makes sense for the most part =) except i still really dont understand why flying characters with range cant attack grounded character while soaring. just doesnt make any sense to me =)

Coolness....

But for those who might not know...

The rules basically state that Soaring figures cannot directly affect non-Soaring figures.

Soaring figure can only affect other Soaring figures.
