So WoS Iron Man wants to FB (forceblast and not Facebook) WoS Spidey into the wall on the junkyard map (the trash compacter part). There is no roll aside from the 1d6 for distance. CR you can avoid knockback and the same with charge but not leap climb right?
Also with no PAC and rulebook handy another question arose with pulsewave and elevated terrain. Would the clix on the edge of elevated by candidates for attack but not those behind them?
Thanks for any help. :classic:

Right on the both parts.
L/C does not prevent knockback, nor does Combat Reflexes. It GIVES the controller the choice to be knocked back on a non-doubles roll AND/OR it allows a figure to not take KB damage, but in no way does it IGNORE knockback if it is rolled for or when using Force Blast.
Edge of elevated would still be targeted by PW but those on the roof would have elevated terrain blocking LoF to them.

You don't ignore knockback with Combat Reflexes, you ignore the damage and can ALWAYS take knockback. So different from charge which yeah, ignores knockback alltogether.
PW still needs line of fire, so if your on elevated but not on the edge, yeah you wouldn't get hit by the PW attack. So the guy on the edge gets hit, but those behind do not. Unless its a collosal :> Always an exeption.
Hope that helps.

A colossal in the middle of a roof isn't an exception. A grounded Pulse Waver would still not hit them. The colossal would need to be on the edge, just like anyone else.
i had a question about force blast as well, if you force blast someone into elevated terrain do they stop and take knockback damage or do they just get blasted onto the elevated terrain. for example, on the new bridge map, cosmic spidey was in square I-18 and red hulk was in square H-19, cosmic used force blast and rolled a 3, knocking him into a corner of elevated terrain, would he go up onto the elevated area or stop at the corner, and does having flight make any difference in all this

I think your looking at this opposite of me. The attacker is on the ground, attacking those that are elevated. So those on the edge are hit and those not are not hit. Unless it is a collossal, who also counts as being elevated for range attack and line of fire purposes. So everyone on the roof and in range are hit, regardless of wether they are on the edge or not. So exeption. Unless I'm wrong?

Yeah, they still are subject to grounded to elevated combat if they're not on the edge. Your LoF would be crossing elevated terrain, thus blocked.

I thought that a grounded Collosal counted as being elevated. So that him and actual elevated figs could shoot at each other regardless of elevation. He still couldn't shoot over 2 squares of elevated as normal, but they are ALWAYS elevated. So no line blocked just like two characters on different buildings shooting at each other.

Ahhh, was thinking of:
Grounded regular vs. ELEVATED Colossal.
Now, GROUNDED Colossal vs. ELEVATED regulars...yeah, yeah, this'd work just fine.

Yeah, I thought the colossal was elevated. You are correct with a grounded colossal to elevated characters.
i had a question about force blast as well, if you force blast someone into elevated terrain do they stop and take knockback damage or do they just get blasted onto the elevated terrain. for example, on the new bridge map, cosmic spidey was in square I-18 and red hulk was in square H-19, cosmic used force blast and rolled a 3, knocking him into a corner of elevated terrain, would he go up onto the elevated area or stop at the corner, and does having flight make any difference in all this
Unless there are stairs or a ladder in the proper line of movement (in which case the character is knocked up the elevated terrain), a character knocked back into elevated will stop before entering the elevated terrain and be dealt knock back damage. So Red Hulk will stop in square G-20 and be dealt knock back damage (which he can probably reduce depending on his powers.) And flight does not make any difference.

And flight does not make any difference.
It only does going OFF a roof, not towards/onto it  (as in non-fliers take 2 damage when falling off a roof and fliers do not)
