1- Carnage
3-Symbiotes
And even 300, would this be good in a 300pt gamE?

I'm going to say no joy.
No Outwit. No Taxis. Little range. This team will get shot up and chewed out in competitive formats.
Compare it to other 300 point teams from WoS.
IM/WM - if the duo is played well the Symbiotes don't have a hope of penetrating that armor.
Dark Avengers - ranged focused team will eat them alive. Iron Patriot has a lot of damage reducers to eat through.
X-Force - Have the advantage on AV & DVs, though a victory could be possible, it's probably unlikely.
U-Foes - the Symbiotes best chance for victory - send Carnage after Ironclad though.
A great player might take it to 2-1, though I guess it would often go 1-2, or even 0-3... again depending on the venue's level of competition.
Consider increasing total to 500 points and adding Anti-Venom, Toxin, and a fourth symbiote.

Yea I noticed they add up to 300 on the nose. Funny/cool little team, but not going to be competitive.
I agree with 'mouse, would do better at higher point level.
I will say this though, Symbiote is one of my favorite suprise pieces from the set. They were really on my radar, but even without their minion power, they are great tie-up piece that has a lot of staying power. Toughness, followed by the regen, really makes it annoying to take them down.

To be competitive, you'd have to figure out how to get across the board without getting shot up. That could be done a couple of ways, without any of them working definitively...
1. Kinetic Accelerator to move figures fast across the board that could tie up/contain the opposing team. You couldn't do that from your end zone, you'd have to do it from the middle of the map.
2. Limit the range of your opponent's fire -- Darkness or Deep Shadows would help, map choice could help (the Lab or the Prison map, where battles tend to develop in certain common areas, would be good choices.)
3. Your opponent doesn't have range, either. You don't get to pick your opponent's team, but if you notice your opponent has a team of lumbering bricks, without powers to shrug off being tied up, this might be a good team to play.
4. Your opponent's team is weak enough that Carnage plus a wounded Symbiote could take it out. You're going to probably lose at least two Symbiotes on the way across the map, so if you think Carnage plus a wounded Symbiote could take your opponent's team, then play it.
5. The event is all WOS. The lack of range in this set could assist in making this team work. Of course, there are a couple of guys in armored suits in this set that will obliterate this team, but just hope you don't face those teams...
But a LOT of these things would have to be in alignment for this team to be able to survive a competitive game. That being said, I would LOVE to play this team... it would be very fun.

Yeah, I should mention this is the type of team I'd play for fun, knowing I'd lose.
I was tinkering around with putting Jackal on the team. Loses the theme bonus, but gains Shape Change, which is really, really nice.
It might be fun to run a friendly game between Symbiotes and HAMMER agents. That might be an evenly matched battle.

1. Even 300
2. All Xmen TA
3. All same THEME team
I am hoping to put together teams exactly LIKE this...this is a definately attraction for H.C.!!
i did carnage and hulk (the one that starts as bruce banner with perplex on the first clix then gets tougher and tougher as he goes and hes grey} it did me really well couse he perplexes carnage and everyone is afraid to attack him, plus he gets perplex again after a couple of clix. good monster team
