View Full Version : regeneration and push...
today me and a pal were playing.. my sabretooth was on his last click which has regen.. we couldnt figure out if he could push himself to regenerate.. cuz if he failed he would die.. we decided he couldnt risk dying to regen.. were we right?
"...this character takes 1 click of damage after he resolves his current action"
edit: wow just realized this is in the dc forum....

Well... No matter what type of figure he is (Marvel or DC), when you push to Regenerate, you really need to roll larger than a 3 to get any benefit.
You can push yourself to KO. When you regenerate, you roll a die and subtract 2 from the total. That's how many clicks you get back. Normally that means you need to roll a 3 or better to benefit. However, if you are pushing to regen, you will take one click back off for pushing, so a roll of 3 leaves you exactly where you are right now. If you fail to regenerate (roll a 1 or a 2), then you take your click for pushing, and are KO'd. The click for pushing comes last. You would click up for regen, then click down once for pushing.
You could actually do it (legal move). I've risked this before with wolverine. It is just you would have to roll at least a 3 to avoid the pushing damage (wash). And 4-6 just to get 1-3 clix healing. Risky, but possible.
ok thx a lot for the clarification
