“Hold together... hold it... holllllld...”
“There!” Otto Octavius, with the assistance of some of his more technical-minded minions, had managed to repair the worst damage that Diablo had done to the submarine. The alchemist apparently operated on a scorched earth policy; almost nothing but the hull had survived the battle, and even that had been punctured a couple of times. Still, there was nothing that a genius couldn't do with the right tools and parts.
Speaking of which:
Having now become rather familiar with some of Dr. Doom's technology, Otto was forced to admit that it was a grade above anything he had encountered in the greater industrialized world. He doubted even the most secret R&D facilities of Fujikawa or Hammer industries could boast computers this sophisticated. In time, Otto believed he could effect repairs using conventional hardware, but time was not a luxury he had right now. The New Warriors were just the first group of super-do-gooders to come looking for someone to blame for Doom's attack. There would be others. When they came, Otto needed to be able to defend his newly acquired prize.
So there was really only one option. For the next few hours the city's defenders would be scrambling to put down any last pockets of active Doombots and contain the damage from the attack. The heaps of smashed robots and armored vehicles would be relatively unguarded, each one a cache of technology compatible with the submarine's systems. The speed of repairs would be quadrupled, at a conservative estimate. It was an opportunity Octopus couldn't pass up.
Finding the site of Doom's last stand wasn't hard. It certainly was simpler than actually steering the hastily-patched together submarine within striking distance. All they had to do was follow the radar signature of the SHIELD helicarrier, which Doom had the foresight to track with his tactical systems. Once again, Otto was impressed with the technological might of Doom's submarine. Of course, this also meant that they wouldn't be able to just sneak in and grab the scrapped robots... SHIELD was already on the scene. Even worse, some of Otto's men were suffering a nasty combination of seasickness and hangovers. But it wasn't like he had never started a fight shorthanded before.
“Fury!” Otto shouted, announcing his presence. Hopefully if he showed a strong enough bluff, he might convince Fury to retreat and surrender the prize without making him fight for it.
“Octavius. I didn't realize you had signed on to be one of Doom's running dogs too, but it makes sense.” Fury said with a sneer.
“You presume too much.” Otto retorted, his tentacles carrying him his forward through the debris of the battlefield, his henchmen not far behind. “As you can see, I've assembled my own force of sinister intent. I would not stoop to the level of a common lackey to some insolent foreign despot.”
“Oh really?” Fury growled, his rather thinly scattered forces similarly rallying around him. “You expect me to believe that minutes after half my team disappears in a flash of sci-fi special effects, you just happen to show up in a Latverian stealth-running salvage submarine, looking to scoop up the biggest collection of wrecked Doombots in New York?”
“Sci-fi...?” Otto muttered under his breath, casting a glance at Mysterio.
“Don't look at me.” Mysterio shrugged.
“Believe what you want, Fury.” Otto addressed his opponent “So long as you understand that I will be taking that pile of technology you're standing on.”
"Oh no you don't Octavius. That scrap heap is mine. I saw it first." A somewhat whiney stuck up voice interjected. Approaching the SHIELD Agents from the opposite direction was none other than the Frightful Four
The SHIELD agents took defensive positions amidst the bits of cover here and there, and Otto and the Wizard both waved their crews forward.

BC: DEBRIS (Collateral Damage #001): Each player contributes three additional objects to the object pile before objects are placed on the battlefield. Players must place all objects in the object pool on the battlefield.

Special Rules:
- SHIELD Start in the top starting zone (Row's 1 and 2). Winner of Initiative between Sin6 and F4 choose either the left or right starting zone. Loser gets the other.
- Each Player gets 3 HO and 3 LO to place with because of Debris. These must be placed at least 5 spaces away from the starting area of the person placing them, and 5 squares from each other as well. They can be placed within 5 of other player's objects however.
- The Sinister Six and Frightful Four are both searching the debris for useful technology. When any of their team members are on, adjacent to, or holding an object they can take a power action to inspect it to see whether it is junk or useful. Roll a d6. On a result of a 1-3, it is junk and cannot be inspected again. On a 4 or 5, it is deemed useful and removed from the game. The Sinister 6 gain 1 TXP for every object removed in this way. On a result of 6, an effect will happen. Post your turn up until that point, then PM me and I will let you know the effect as soon as possible.
- SHIELD will earn IXP for any damage done by Nick Fury this game, but not TXP.

Is there first turn immunity? Am I just supposed to stop both of them from investigation of the objects?

Ok thanks, When Vagrant perplexed Hydra defense, that 's why I thought we didn't have first turn immunity.

Nick Fury started barking commands to his agents. "I'll be damned if I'm gonna let this Vermin take what shield fought so hard for", Fury thought to himself. His agents moved out then he himself was moved with the magnetic ray from the Mandroid armor. "Give it up and go home, both of you are no match for my agents!" Yelled Fury.
Actions:
Free) Nick fury Uses Tactics: Rolls a 5. (4 Actions Total)
1) Jetpack agent #1 grabs Swat Specialist and flies to P6 dropping him P8.

Henchman finds part of a Broken Doombot's arm that can still fire energy blasts. This gives him +1 range and +1 attack when making ranged attacks.

Story:
Fury is busy trying to get out of the Sandman's clutches, and when he tries to give orders Sandman fills his mouth with sound. Swat Heavy Weapons agent tried to punch Vulture who easily dodges the attack.
Jet trooper #1 sees Calypso heading the the Pile of debris on top of the hill. He motions to the Mandroid armor agent, who uses his magnetic propulsion ray and lifts the Jet trooper to the hill top. The Jet Trooper says "Not so fast lady, where do you think your going?"

I changed my turn. It's fixed now. As for the previous turn Entangle says "If you fail the roll do not place a token on the attacker, he cannot attack or move. That's it a free action as I read it.
Story:
The Jet Pack Commander had warned the Woman to back away, but she didn't listen. He aimed his plasma rifle towards her and opened fire. The blast hit her square in the chest knocking her to the ground unconscious. Jet trooper attempted to breakaway, from Sandman, but he kept him from escaping.
Manroid armour saw nick in trouble he pushed his magnetic ray and lifted the rooke agent over to help nick. But it damaged his armour and the ray burned out after dropping the rookie.
Actions:

Story:
Swat Heavy Weapons agent saw vulture take to the air and charge the poor rookie, clobbering him from behind. He took aim and fired his rifle the bullet caught one the Vultures wings and he was visibly in pain. Nick Fury knows that he won't escape from Sandman now, but see's the Vulture land next to him and throws a punch which connects on Vultures Face.
Medic hears growling and sees Kraven land behind her, She is scared and runs back to the safety of the Mandroid Armour agent.
Actions:

Story:
As Fury went down, the rest of the Shield agents felt a chill across the battlefield. The feeling that even though he was a supreame leader and fighter, Fury was only Human after all, and sometimes these super powered villians can get the best of him.
Mandroid Agent moved enxt to Jet Pack agent #1 and the Swat Specialist on his own now moved to Cover near by. Finally, Jet Pack Trooper #1 opened fire on Vulture, both rounds from his plasma rifle hit home taking him down. He yelled, "That was for Nick, you supervillian costumed creatins!!!!"

Story:
Bob otherwise known as Jetpack agent #1, turns to the Medic. Do you have something for Heart attacks with you? She responds like Nitroglycerin? That's it, can I have it. She hands him the Bottle, he breaks it open and carefully takes out the liquid putting it on the outside of a grenade. He lobs the grenade and it lands at Sandmans feet, with a massive boom. Sandman appears hurt from the blast,but pulls himself back together again. Bob yells "Shield! We must keep him from getting the object Nick was standing on refused to flee it. It must be very important!"

Story:
Sandman charged in to both he and the medic next to him, but at the last moment the Mandroid agent was able to release a small magnetic web from his belt, which entanged the Sandman briefly, stopping him in his tracks. Next, Jet pack trooper #2 moved over to help Heavy Weapon agent, who was currently giving the Bird to Mysterio for creating an illusion of himself standing next to the Agent, who swung his gun and hit the building Temporarily disabling it.

Epilogue
Doctor octopus awoke in a haze. His head ached, and he coughed for breath as his throat dislodged the last trickle of water that he had nearly drowned in. Once he had most of his wind back, he fixed his glasses into place and surveyed the battlefield around him.
The wreckage-strewn field was nearly deserted. When last he had seen it there had been SHIELD agents trading fire with his men, while another group of super-villains were trying to steal Doom's tech right out from under their nose.
"You!" Came the voice of the Wizard, pointing angrily at Octopus. "What have you done with my team?!"
"What?" stammered Otto, his tentacles pulling him shakily up to his feet. The Wizard hovered through the air, still high above Octavius' reach. He scanned the battlefield again; no trace of the Wizard's underlings... and no trace of Otto's either. Oh wait, there was the new guy, whatsisface, but he hardly mattered.
"One minute I am on the verge of crushing the last of your minions, and the next everyone disappears in a burst of energy. I demand to know what sort of technology could selectively teleport over half the combatants against their will!"
Dr. Octopus checked again, only spotting a half dozen SHIELD agents in the distance, pulling their wounded to safety. What had become of Vulture, Sandman, Mysterio and Kraven? Apparently the same fate that had befallen Wizard's men.
"Are you ignoring me?" Wizard said indignantly, his hands on his hips. "You had best reverse this teleportation trick or I will be forced to take drastic measures against your person, sir!"
"Oh shut up! You said that there was a flash of energy? Did you take any readings?"
"Well yes my armor automatically creates a record of any useful in--"
"Fine!" Otto snapped, grabbing Wizard with a tentacle and hauling him down to the ground. "Let me take a look. Maybe I can figure out what happened."
"Cease this beastly treatment at once, and I perhaps I shall deign to assist you." Wizard said, fighting to squirm free of Otto's tentacle. When Otto's grip relaxed, Wizard tapped commands into his armor's controls until a data readout appeared. "Now look carefully at this section of radiographic data and--"
"I know how to read!" Otto snapped again, his hands holding the sides of his painfully throbbing head. He did his best to shut out the residual pain and focus on the readouts, noticing some striking similarities to the wavelengths that the Doomtech in the sub operated on. It was no wonder Wizard couldn't make heads or tails of it... even Otto only had a vague idea what he was looking at.
But it looked like time travel.
"I have a theory." Dr. Octopus ventured. "I believe some of this technology is still operational. Something triggered it going off... a timer, or something one of us did. The same thing must have happened to the SHIELD soldiers poking around before we got here."
"You suspect our comrades have been... transported in time?" Wizard guessed, having reached the same conclusion as Octopus. Doom was fairly well known in the underground scientific community for having broken the time travel barrier, one of the biggest scientific milestones a great mind could achieve. Wizard's expertise in gravity manipulation meant he was no stranger to advanced physics. Perhaps he had raided the wreckage site hoping to find exactly that.
Both scientists glared at each other, knowing that neither would have much chance of returning their allies on their own. And without their muscle to back them up, it was only a matter of time before SHIELD returned in even greater numbers than before.
"An alliance then," Wizard suggested.
"A temporary alliance." Octopus agreed, "until we get our minions back, or we're forced to flee."
"And we'll split the recovered technology 50/50." Wizard added firmly, knowing that without their troops Octopus had lost the advantage of superior numbers.
"....Fine." Dr. Octopus agreed reluctantly. "And you keep your chatter to a minimum. You windbag."
"What! Why I don't have ...! ...agreed." Wizard swallowed his pride, forcing himself to keep quiet.
"Let's get to work." Wizard said succinctly, and the two scientists got busy rummaging through the heaps of machinery, looking for the secret to bring their missing teams back to the present.
