Anonymous Mafia 6 - Lets pick a theme

I have decided that after ASX I'll do another Anonymous Mafia (as I haven't done one in a while). It's time for me to pick a theme and I'm mauling over a few. I'm going to throw out some ideas, if you have more, add them to the list (keeping my style of modding/my personality in mind. I want a game that meshes with me.)

1) Foxtrot Mafia - Someone ran a Calvin and Hobbs game a while back. This would be similar. I'm a big Foxtrot fan and I see potential here.

2) I've done general TV mafia, but I could always pick a specific show. Since Glee and Buffy have been done, it would most likely be either Veronica Mars Mafia or Supernatural Mafia.

3) I could do a comic theme. Authority and Invincible are the ones I'm thinking of the most. However, my last 2 anonymous games were comic books. I think it might be time for something else.

4) Rabbits was a ton of fun. I could pick another animal. I'm thinking Dragons would be cool. Take a bunch of Dragons from different places and put them in a cave. I actually like that idea a lot.

5) Some other random theme. I have a few off-the-wall ideas I could use. You know, if you want to keep it a surprise until the game starts.

The more I think about it, the more I want to do Dragons. I have a ton of ideas already.

But... I know non-comic games can be a hard sell. Rabbits had a helluva time finding people (despite being one of my favorite games I've run).

They would all be. In a long enough time period, they are all games I would want to run.

I just realized the humorous irony of my choices. I'm behind on all three :laugh:

I'm about 1/3 of the way through S3 of Veronica Mars, haven't read Fox Trot since we quit getting the paper several years ago, and am 2-3 graphic novels behind on Invincible!

Yeah, but that would happen regardless of theme. :p
Besides, a Dragons game could be called "Here be dragons".

My childhood is filled with Bruce Coville. And Jeremy Thatcher Dragon Hatcher was my favorite. Then Goblins in the Castle, followed by Aliens Ate My Homework.

edit: Oh, I guess there are a lot of dragons named Tiamat.

VenomDaBomb ran one relatively recently but that doesn't mean there couldn't be other ones.

@Mags - Yeah, what I figured. I just can't be on them dependably...and as I'm down to one game (back on death streak - surprise!) it would've been nice. Ah well.

It's not for a while. Still have ASX going on.

I'd love to have you, but understand if it doesn't work. Anonymous adds that extra complication (but is worth it, IMO)

Yeah, Dragons sounds great, and I think an Anony game is just perfect timing. We have a bit of new blood.
