sabretooth is part of the brotherhood team, which gives him free movement, so does that mean he can use charge without taking one of your turns?

Sabertooth can only move for free.once you do anything else it costs a token from your starting amount.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but the brotherhood team ability says to give the character a free 'Move action' and the charge ability lets you use a move action to make an attack. Why are you unable to use charge then? Wouldn't it just tell you to move the character but no powers associated?

The FAQ clears this up:

"If using the Avengers or the Brotherhood team ability, the figure may use any Power it possesses to move, including flying. The figure can pick up objects or carry figures during this free move. The figure cannot make any attacks during this move, even if it has a Power that would allow for it.

***The figure cannot use Powers that use a move action but do not physically move the figure (such a Barrier or Regeneration). If the figure makes an attack or uses a Power that requires a move action but does not physically move the figure the action must be taken from the player's total actions for that turn.***"
