More Emotes Please

I was wondering if it would be possible to add more emotes? We just have the basic emotes then some custom heroclix based ones to use and I think it would be cool to add a bit more to help properly convey emotions.

I'm willing to entertain the idea if you provide the translation and point me in the direction of the emoticon. I think what we has is fine ... adding to many always junks up a site, but a few extra that fill in a void probably won't hurt.

I believe we have too many emotes! All these complicated "feelings" people are having! Back in my day, we only had two! Pissed, and REALLY Pissed! I demand the removal of all other emoticons!

Are animated emotes a possibility? Here's some of the ones I mentioned in my previous post. Not all of them are animated.

LOL I agree with you on that one, and the off-topic and threadjacking ones.

EDIT: Through a Google search, I found another site that has a ton of emoticons (http://www.bodymod.org/smilies/emoticons_smilies.asp). I'm certain some of them wouldn't be popular here, though. There is a cthulhu smiley, though, but not the same one I'm looking for.

No animated icons; and all icons have to be 16x16. I have a pretty strong opinion on this subject because every site I see with 100 emoticons are just a cesspool.

Linking to somethingawful is certainly an indication of that example. LOL!

some of the ones on http://www.bodymod.org/smilies/emoticons_smilies.asp are pretty neat, and have wide usability. I'll review those and see if there's anything worth adding.

Team abilities would be useful in the context of the game; so I will look into that. The major restriction is 16x16, which makes it so text doesn't look funny when wrapped above/below a line with an icon. :)

I'm against adding emoticons. They would add a considerable fun factor to the site, which I think violates the overall spirit of HCR.
