I agree with him. You need Black Panther and a Wasp at least. I'd also drop the E cap and go with a V hawkeye. I'm assuming it's a 300 pt team... I dunno if these are right, they're off the top of my head...

I think this team better utilizes the Avengers team ability, and though it lacks a powerhouse, the swarm attack can be effective.

2x Thugs(Avenger Groupies) V-10

With 3 free moves and a 75% or better chance at a leadership +1 action, should have no problem mobilizing. If able place objects in centralized locations a stealthed Panther can outwit from. Add one or both SHIELDs to Hawkeye to power him up and snipe away. Use the "Avenger Groupies" to hold tie-up and Witch to probablity control any bad rolls within range...

I'm sure you'll have fun playing with your favorite figures but
6 or less figures on a 300pt Avenger team is a waste of the Avengers team ability. Put those free moves and leadership to work. Why pay for a team ability that doesn't really do anything for you?

CptAmerica569, I like your team, but I do have one suggestion. I would downgrade Captain America to the Experienced version, replace the S.H.I.E.L.D. Trooper with a Veteran S.H.I.E.L.D. Sniper, and use the leftover points to replace a Thug with an Experienced Quicksilver. That will give you a little more mobility, give the Cap a little more survivability, and give you a great anti-Medic piece.

Oh... and just claim the other Thug is Rick Jones.

Good idea Taibak, I personally haven't had a lot of sucess with Quicksilver in the past but he might just fit on this team. Plus he isanother free move.

I'm still crying about Beast. They made the Beast so good and then said sorry Avengers, you'll just have to Drool. His point cost could have been nice around the Experience Level on an Avenger team.

Just remember that Quicksilver is Advanced Mobile Terrain (tm) and you shouldn't go wrong with him. His only real use is blocking LOF and basing enemies, sure he can Flurry but his stats aren't very good to do it with. As a rapid response LOF blocker though he can't be beat (ok, by U Flash he can, but who spends 100 points on a LOF blocker). This is one of the reasons I like R Quickie best, he doesn't even have flurry or anything like that, but still has the 16 defense and energy shield/deflection, and the free move (of 12).

Remember: He can survive a hit from Firelord! :o

No medics, but this team can hit quick enough that you may not need them.

A variation is:

I don't like giving up 4 points, but didn't have V Hercules at the time. Could go with V Hercules, R Black Panther and E Wasp to get Avengers Hercules, but I'm not sure that team is any better.
