I'm selling an Iron Man War Machine duo on ebay. It's my first auction. There's only two days left and the price is only at $1.30? Why is it so low? Will more people bid when there's less time left?

Most people don't bother to bid early since it is the last bid that counts. :)

$1.30 you say? Headin to the Bay
Seriously though, bidding should pick up as time draws closer.
yeah I thought the same thing when I was bidding on a Doctor Octopus for .99 with less than 12 hours left. It shot up to 15 : \
Yeah, 2 days left on eBay is an eternity. Anxiety is understandable, but I think that figure will definitely go for more than $1.30.
In the last 2 hours you will see a $20+ jump in price.

Yeah, there's no need to fret. 2 days is plenty of time for the bids to increase. I'll bet it's final bid will end in the $20 range.
But on a personal note, I don't think this figure will be worth what most people thought it would be. It seems to be a fairly common pull among the SRs (at least in this area) and it's fairly expencive to field in low point games. And I don't know about everyone else, but I'm sick of Iron Man figures!!! I don't want to see anymore in HeroClix for a while!!!
What no Stealth Armor : P
Yeah I don't know I would have been fine with Just Iron Patriot in this set.

Yeah, we just had a good IM in SI... another IM is kinda silly. Should've just done the IM/WM and been done with it.
But to echo what everyone else said... yeah, $1.30 with 2 days left is nothing to worry about. You'll be fine.
I was more than grateful to have that Iron Man the other night in my tournament. His free action force blast was what killed Nightcrawler. Otherwise I would have lost.

One other thing. Don't be too surprised, OP, if your end price isn't as high as the Completed Listing average, since this is your first auction.
You normally need to build a bit of rep before you get full price on sales. :)
unless its a chase figure. I saw the Black lantern related chases go for listed price when the guy had a 0 rating

Let us know what final price is.
Yeah, it's been 48 hours since your Original Post. What is it up to?

A flood of new "auction" type listings harken...
What people really need to be concerned about is this:
From tomorrow, September 28 through January 7, list Auction-style free at any starting price, including high-ticket items. You can list up to 100 items for free every month in nearly any category, and pay only if your item sells. This offer applies to all sellers except those with current eBay Store Subscriptions on eBay.ca or eBa.com
A whole slew of new, newish, and scammers will be enjoying a free ride via ebay.
To those buyers who bid on these items use credit card through paypal to protect yourself.
To ebay - thanks for making it that much worse.
BTW Generation_omega It is not unusual to see little action till the end. At the same time you were probably also able to see the quantity of watchers on the item (although watchers doesn't necessarily equal bidders). Do you bid right away yourself on items you want? As well your ebay score will also be a determining factor on how readily people will bid.

Think I need to head straight to my Scammers Anonymous meeting right now and meet with my sponsor.
That's just asking for trouble.
Sold for $26 plus $5 shipping

Yep, sold for $26. Thanks everyone. Rep all around.
So what do I do now? Am I supposed to send an invoice or does ebay/paypal/whoever do that already? Am I supposed to do anything tax-wise? I live in Florida where there's no income tax but what about federal or whatever? I don't want the IRS coming after me.
Was the winner a Realmser by any chance?

I don't have the patience to sit there staring at the computer while time ticks down. Plus my internet has a habit of working when it feels like it so I just look up the cheapest buy-it-now + shipping and bid a few dollars less. If I win, great, if not, someone else can gladly pay more than me just so they can say they "won".

You can check the ID name of the winner against the Members List here to see if a Realmser won.
As for the next step, most people will usually just go ahead and pay, but you can certainly send an invoice from your MyEbay page.
Congrats
