Symbiote Mod Question

Ok I am in the process of modding Carnage and all my Symbiotes....can't stand them all being the same. I can't get my head around if they should have a gloss finish or matt. Anyone care to weigh in with an opinion to help me decide?

Not that I know anything about modding yet, but I think a subtle gloss could look good. It could represent a "slimy" element. Maybe something similar to how Surtur has some gloss on him to show blood?

I've always seen them as some kind of living gel, I'd go with gloss for sure.
