So he could use barrier to deal up to 16 damage? Seems a bit much to me.

Actually with the perplex it could be 24. That's just silly.

Doesn't seem worth 300 points...

Personally, I think Bat-Mite should have a pot-pouri dial like emperor Joker rather than a solid block of special powers giving him a bunch of other powers.

Otherwise, the power selection looks pretty good but some of the variants (barrier/smoke cloud + attack in particular) are a tad overpowered. Personally, I'd say he has to have at least 2 barrier/smoke cloud tokens adjacent to the target of the attack, and can only make 1 attack as a free action (rather than 1 attack from each barrier token).

I don't really see the point of giving him ESD and CCR either, since he's got the big Q. Why not just up his defense by 2? Not that he needs that either...

Anyways, I like your ideas for him but I think I would reign it in a bit, power-wise.

WAAAAAY to many white power, just because he can do something doesn't he needs to have it represented on every slot at all times. try representing him with regular powers and then spice it up with a white power or 2. i would never want to play a fig like that or play against it.

No damage reduction means he will lose every game against anyone who knows not to clump up. 8 clicks that you get a 5 or 6 dial roll chance to save yourself from? Yeah, interesting idea, but he will die everytime I;m afraid. Still, interesting idea, thanks for sharing!

There are better forms of defense than damage reducers. As he is, this guy gets a 1 in 3 chance to dodge any attack before it even happens (shape change), if he fails that then gets another 1 in 3 chance to dodge the attack (super senses). Just between those two powers, you have a 55.6% chance of avoiding all damage dealt (maybe fuzzy math, correct me if I'm wrong...), and that's assuming that the attack hits.

But you can't assume that the attack is going to hit, because he has very formidable defense values. He'll have a defense of 19-21 against all attacks but pulse wave (ESD/CCR), and Perplex gives him a potential 20-22 defense against all attacks. Lastly, don't forget that he has PC to make you re-roll on the off-chance that you do hit him.

Add all that up and this guy is one tough nut to crack.

Reducing damage is a good defense, but preventing a hit from landing at all is even better.
